Pockets

Pockets is part of a ragtag crew of prospectors-for-hire as the ship mechanic. She specializes in pistols and opening just about every door ever. She's called "Pockets" because she'll almost always have what you need on her person at any given time. She's the first mate and will do piloting of the frigate as well. If she was represented by a symbol it would be a skeleton key.

She suffers a limp from when her hip was crushed as a child and it could never heal properly. Because of this she is constantly on painkillers. She's addicted to them, alcohol, various illegal drugs, and casual sex. She suffers from untreated depression and PTSD relating to her childhood trauma.

She is short, stocky, and strong. Being the mechanic and part of the ground team helps keep her fit, and she works out only if there are long periods of time between exploring or space battle with rivals. She's very proud of her work and is easily annoyed when it's tampered with.

She likes to wear just her shipsuit when she's lounging. She'll wear plaid button ups over top of it when the crew stops at the local watering hole, and she wears a standard mechanics jumpsuit overtop her shipsuit when doing work. She has, on occasion, been known to wander the ship with just a pair of boxers on.
