ABOUT
"The harder the game is to solve, the more fun you can have, right?"
Hardened by working in the force, Jericho is a stoic, quiet man at first glance. He is very blunt and to the point. He has quite the sense of humor and it throws people off once you get to know him a bit. He has a bit of a complex due to his size since he’s slightly below average and due to jabs from his father when he was a child, so he works out often as a way of compensating and proving that he is strong and not a pushover. He runs about 2 miles in the morning and lifts weights multiple times a day when not at work.
Sometimes things like jokes and references go above his head because he thinks about most things in a literal sense.His coworker and best friend Alitta has to explain them to him more often than not. He actually is very good with kids even though he tries to act like a tough guy. When he’s at home he is more fun loving and can actually relax and loves to play with Turpentine and Enamel or lay down with Paint or casually talk to Sandy or pick at Gotha.
DESIGN NOTES
- Standard B/W Base with standard hologram placement (End of tail).
- Symetrical markings on both sides
- Inner ears and tongue are same red and white striped. Inside of mouth is red.
- In human form, usually can be seen wearing a suit sans the vest or just a plain color button up with a tie along with slack and comfortable dress shoes.
BACKGROUND
Early Life
Jericho does not like to talk about his past due to abuse from his father which led to a very unfortunate series of events. From that point he knew that he didn’t want what happened to him to happen to anyone else. He lived with relatives for a while until he could get his own place and worked toward getting into the police academy. He went to community college and graduated with a degree in psychology which has greatly helped him in many cases.
Current Life
He met his current partner in crime Alitta on her first day at the station where she was totally working. She is the person he goes to when he needs advice or just a good talk or laugh. Honestly Alitta and Jer’s family thought he would work himself to an early grave with how much he gives others and not to himself, until he met Paint Thinner and Turpentine. They noticed a difference right away. He didn’t work as late as he used to and seemed to relax a bit more and even gives small smiles to others when he passes them now.
RELATIONSHIPS
Never in his wildest dreams would Jericho imagine finding someone he loves so much and someone that loves him as much if not more. Paint always makes smile and helps him through his nightmares (with the help of the kids of course).
Enamel is Jericho and Paint's biological kid and she is somethings else. She and Turp have Jer wrapped around their little fingers. Tiny, fast, and love to bite to prove a point. (They're working on that)
As soon as Jericho met Turpentine, he claimed her (he in the future) as his. His original parter in crime so to speak before Nams was born. Jer likes to teach Turp new phrase and faces that she could use on her dad when Jer isn't around.
He and Gotha work in the same police precinct in mid Junction City. Gotha is very much a bull headed person, but it's one thing Jer likes about him. They are more like frenemies, but will go to bat for each other any time it is called for. (Jericho usually perfers to go to Hawker first on some cases)
Met Sandy when she first started working with the police department. She wasn't too happy about him barging in while she was working but she's gotten used to his dramatic entrances. May or may not be thinking of introducing her to Paint and the kids.

TRIVIA
- Jericho was a special design from the holiday even of 2020. I got to complete his adult design based on the one I won
- Jericho got into the police force after an accident as a child left him without either of his parents
- Can't stand the kids' 'pet' catroach, Banditto, but will give her people food on occasion for doing a good job
- Jer will sing at home when he cooks and cleans if he has the day off or comes home before Paint and the kids
