Locklan "Cure Cheer" Samson

Locklan is a curious fellow. He tends to get sidetracked easily whenever something catches his interest. He keeps notes of his discoveries in his journal, which is on his person pretty much at all times. He tends to get lost in thought as well and can be seen as rude due to these habits. That said, Locklan is  a nice person who, when he’s able to focus, likes to help others with their problems as best he can. He aspires to be a writer someday.

Locklan was born to a Whimsicott mother and Dubwool father. His mother died when he was very young so he has very little memory of her, but he has many fond memories of his father raising him despite the challenges. Working long hours, Locklan’s father was very supportive of his passion for writing and has helped him try to grow that skill in order to become a published author one day. Currently, Locklan is a university student working on an English degree and spends much of his free time working on the manuscript for his book.

When transformed, Locklan sprouts buttercups from his fluff and grows an extra set of horns on his head. A braided tether appears on his journal to connect it to his outfit. He’s more serious and focused in this  form, not allowing distractions to prevent him from assisting others. On top of super strength, Locklan also gains the ability to make paper airplanes from his journal which he can control as well as enlarge or shrink at will.
