Vivid from a lifetime ago...
The first of the Seven Seraphs. He was known for his radiant beauty and lovely singing voice, loved by all. Something he found unique among the other angels and he reveled in it. The feeling of uniqueness awakened a vision that everybody should indulge in their own beauty rather than trying to fit an ugly, strict mold. Despite his efforts in advocating for this, he could not sway tradition.
As an act of defiance, he rallied the other Seraphs, brothers who supported his cause. One, by one, each was struck down and punished. For his treason, Lucifer's halo was broken and his source of beauty, his face, taken.
He joined Beelzebub immediately after his defeat, vowing to build up Hell with his goal of allowing differences and uniqueness. Even if it was at the expense of peace. To ensure this, he appointed himself as a cultural figurehead while Beelzebub did the actual administrative work of a ruler. He pushed for self-love, aspirations, and personal goals but his messages became distorted when Demons decided to declare war. Disappointed that they took his gifts for granted, he abandoned his throne, many of his brothers following suit.
Design Notes
- His color scheme is literally just holographic colors. More leaning on the purples than anything else.
- His horns are meant to represent his broken halo. The bigger pieces float close to their broken off areas, giving the shape of the original horn. Smaller pieces other orbit the eye or other larger pieces.
- His bottom jaw is visible and has no eyes on his face.
- His neck, shoulders, and splotches of his upper torso are covered in feathers.
- Dainty deer legs.
- His clothes always have ruffles or sheer. Sheer always has holographic colors closer to blues.
- Accent colors, especially the hair tie, are always gold.
- There's a dewclaw on his legs, resembling a bird's talon.
Trivia
- Voice Claim: Varre- Pip Torrens.
- Became known as a face stealer, amassing a collection of the most beautiful faces over the centuries.
- The only one of the Princes to retain angel wings.
- Third tallest along with his twin, Satan.
- Speaking of Satan, he's his exact opposite in almost all regards. While they can barely tolerate each other, they know the other is important to them.
- He's 100% the guy to wear the husband killer nightgown and cry about how his husband mysteriously died. Then once the officer leaves, he laughs about it to his wife.
- As Hell's cultural leader, he has no true adminstrative power compared to Beelzezbub. He's more concerned with preservation of relics, texts, and history while also overseeing architecture and some infrastructure. He's more of the guy that knows how to rally people together and give a good pep talk. Though, along with Beelzebub, he does have full control over a legion of Demons meant to keep order in Hell.
