Spliced with a combination of lion and fox DNA before they were even born, Au has gained both the ferocity and the wit of their unexpected ancestors. They prefer a solitary life, able to do things their own way and at their own pace. This isn't to say that Au is selfish. In fact, they can be quite warm and caring when the situation calls for it. But Au expects a level of respect that they are not sure many people would be willing to give, so they are choosy about who they grow close to.
