CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!
Everyone has heard of the family name 'LaFontaine' in this city - After all, they're the greatest criminal family in 1886 London, and are feared city-wide.
And if you say you haven't heard of them, this man in particular will be incredibly cross with you. For, after all, this would be Clockwork LaFontaine, and what do you mean you haven't heard of London's master thief?
Clockwork LaFontaine is the eldest son of the previous Master Thief, and has taken up the title after aforementioned was murdered one day. Clockwork now holds up the title with glee and pride, building his entire life around the title, doing everything he can to remain the greatest thief the city has ever seen,

Personality
Clockwork is pretty much the sunniest thief one can meet - He has a constant smile on his face, a constant need for attention, and a constant need to be able to talk about his passions - Which results in a very cheerful man with a lot of things to say at break-neck speed and a tendency to forget bigger priorities. He has a deep interest in thievery, and refuses to let anyone best him at it or let anyone stop him from doing so.
Underneath the happy-go-lucky surface, however, he tends to be a bit impulsive, careless and one-track minded. Has bouts of manic depression or listless boredom. Extremely sensitive to rejection.

Skills
Stealth
Being small isn't all bad! You can hide in corners! You can hide in closets! You can hide behind the couch and then scare the everliving shit out of your dogs on accident!
Pickpocketing
With a thief comes quick fingers - And this one is an absolute menace about it. The first thing he does with most people he gets to know is to find out just how perceptive they are, and the favourite way to go about it is to find out just how quickly they'll notice a missing object from their pockets.
Acting
The first thing Clockwork does upon hearing a new accent is to emulate it and perfect it for himself - And then use it against an unknowing constable. The dramatics are also included in the package, and trust me when I say he is king at being dramatic.
Cartography
A successful heist isn't a successful heist with the most intricate map of the layout of your house. Spends a lot of time mapping out random locations he intends to heist, or just mapping out the surroundings of the city he lives in. Just in case, you know.
Summary
Clockwork was the first born to a family of thieves and criminals - His parents both infamous thieves. Clockwork was pretty much raised to be the exact same, being taught in the arts of thievery, disguises and lockpicking from a very young age. His parents ended up getting two more children.
His father eventually disappeared without a trace, considered to be murdered by his family, who didn't know that Felix had disappeared into another dimension to attempt to stop the nightmares plaguing his children like an odd family curse. It seems to have had the most effect on Clockwork, who was old enough at that point to have an extremely close relationship to his father, and seems to not have gotten over the supposed murder of his father all that much, keeping up with the family tradition of thievery both out of a love for it and out of honour for his dad.
Present day
The years continued on, with Clockwork growing a reputation for himself as an excellent thief (as he should be, being a LaFontaine child!), eventually developing a love for wine bordering close to alcoholism - But it became a trademark, both as a thing he left behind on his burglaries and as a thing people would pay him with for his services.
Being the wine fiend he is, one of the particularly black-out drunk nights resulted in a... Bit of a mishap in the form of a small daughter now left on his doorstep - A responsibility he, at the age of 18, was all too hesitant to accept and shoved off to the rest of his family members for a time. Now that he is older (and she can speak!), however, Clockwork has fully embraced the role of parent and would rather die than let anything happen to her.
Met his future husband Praeda at some point in those years, and would absolutely die for him now.
The only problems he experiences now is that he keeps waking up from horrible nightmares, and his reflection seems to react a little too slow to his movements...
Trivia
Most of the dogs he owns were stolen from bad owners or adopted off the street.
Has a debilitating fear of mirrors - And Doppelganger hasn't helped. Will not sleep in any room that has an uncovered mirror
Speaking of sleep - Barely does so. And when he does, is liable to either get a nightmare or sleep paralysis. As a result, there are many nights where he just aimlessly fills the time until morning.
Has a 'affection quota' with his husband - And will get whiny if it isn't fulfilled. Uses said husband as his own furniture - Be it bed, chair or anything else. He fits.
Has been arrested many, many times - But he's adamant that he let himself get caught every single time. The jury is still out on that one. Knows the local constables by name, face, and three trivia facts.
