♦ Brief Background ♦ ♢ North was born in the city of New York to two Heroes. His mother, Resina, had Cryokinesis for a quirk similar to his. His father, West, had a mutant quirk where he looked similar to a centaur. Execpt, he wasn't part human and part horse. The horse part was actually part giraffe. ♢ As North was a child, he was alone most of the the time, since his parents were busy out being heroes. This was what made him have a mellow attitude because of him lacking social interactions. When North was old enough, he decided to attend AVM and be a hero, himself. North always looked up to his parents and wanted to to see what it was like to walk in in their footsteps. I mean, who doesn't look up to heroes and try out the cool lifestyle of danger and helping others? ♦ Strengths ♦ ♢ makes a good distraction and for holding back enemies ♢ is good at buying time for wounded people (freezes them until they are able to get medical help) ♢ helping people cool down in the Summer ♢ being resourceful and accessing to a situation when he gets an idea going ♢ willing to be that person that says "go on without me, save yourself" ♢ Weaknesses ♢ ♦ screwed when he's in the heat ♦ has nothing but his quirk to keep him worth something on the battlefield ♦ tends to slip on his own ice if he is not prepared to walk on it (ie. walks slowly or slides on purpose to move quickly) ♦ reacts very slowly to problems/situations (unless somebody is screaming) ♦ cannot swim in water ♢ Quirk ♢ ♦ Cryokinesis - The ability to freeze, shape, animate, and manipulate ice. ♦ Active ♦ ♢ [LOCKED] Tear Darts - He is able to turn his tears into tiny frozen darts. So don't make him cry. You're helping him make weapons. ♢ [LOCKED] Glacier Barricade - A thick wall of ice erupts from the ground or any frost patch he had made. If anyone or anything is in in the way, they will be preserved inside. ♢ [LOCKED] Icicle Rain - A shower of sharp icicles are pelted at the target. They all vary in different degrees of cold temperatures. The more colder ones are more harder and difficult to shatter. The less colder ones are easier to shatter when struck at the right spot. Rains can last up to five minutes, attacking or distracting the target. ♢ [LOCKED] Frost Touch - A trap is set on the ground. The ground slowly gets frosted over and spreads at a human's average running speed. When made contact with, the frost climbs up whatever touched it at an accelerated pace and hardens, creating a ice casing around the object or being. The beings inside are not harmed in the process unless the ice casing is shattered, leaving them vulnerable. While inside, they are temporarily in an unconscious state until North leaves the area (ten-feet away), allowing the frost to melt if the temperature allows it. This skill is good for stopping enemies or creating a barricade of defense. ♢ Passive ♢ ♦ Shiver Fever - The area around him (about arm's length) is always cold, no matter the actual temperature. If he's in a room-temperature area, the atmosphere around him will feel like winter. If he's in a heated area, the atmosphere around him will feel like room-temperature. If he's in a freezing area, stay away unless you don't mind a lot little frostbite. ↳ Only 5% of the range that he can do at a Level 0 ♦ "Smoking" - Due to the cold temperatures, his breath is always cloudy and can be seen when exhaling. ♦ Strengths ♦ ♢ Cold temperatures keep him cool when standing in warm temperatures. ↳ North has never felt the heat, before. Except in food. ♢ North is good at working or fighting with people that has water quirks. ↳ Ey, free ammunition. Freeze that stuff and then he owns it. ♢ It creates good defense and slow people down. In addition, it can also potentially give people illnesses gained from being in cold temperatures. ↳ Hope you know some good remedies for flu/cold/hypothermia or have fun with some frost-bite. ♢ No mess when attacking. You just get a lot of water puddles everywhere in the aftermath. He could get away with a murder with that kind of skill. Oooh, dangerous. ↳ Science behind this- If pure water enters the bloodstream, the cells will absorb it and grow larger until they explode. ♢ This child is immune to hypothermia, colds, or any illnesses that can be caught while being out in the cold. ↳ Fevers will knock him out unconscious, though. :( Bad flu. ♢ Weaknesses ♢ ♦ Ice can easily melt in heated temperatures/areas. The warmer the temperature, the smaller his range is. ↳ Cold/Freezing temperatures is a town. Normal temperatures is a block. Hot temperatures is arm's length. ♦ Any contact with burning items really effect him. It has to be room-temperature to not hurt him. (That's the warmest he can handle.) ↳ Things that would be considered "burning hot" would feel like he's being impaled and the only way to help his suffering is to throw him into a freezer. ♦ North is unable to stand around "hot" people. ↳ It weakens him. Not really. It just makes him vulnerable since they melted off his only source of attack. I guess it weakens him at the same time. ♦ North cannot constantly freeze melting ice without his touch. ↳ It's just plain tedious. So this resorts to making him use icicles as knives. ♦ If there's no water nearby, Nortjh is basically useless in attacks. ↳ This promotes him to carry around water-bottles or be near bodies of water. In dire situations, he is able to use the water molecules in the atmosphere to freeze and group them together, so it's never that large of a problem. The attacks are not as large, though. ↳ His birthday is December 25th. ↳ His voice actor would be the one who voiced Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians. ↳ He loves eating warm food to contradict the cold temperatures that always surround him. ↳ His body feels like a dead person with no heat. The only way to visibly tell that he's alive with no medical knowledge is to see his foggy breaths. ↳ He really really loves scented-candles. It's a shame that he's weak to heat. Gotta love them from a distance. ↳ He tends to cry really quickly when his mind is stuck in a rut (ie. nothing's going right or he is aware that he did something really wrong). ↳ He doesn't understand why people call him Elsa. (He's never seen the movie. He hardly watches movies. He's more of a book-person.) ↳ He has a hard time getting jokes. If one is thrown at him, he's just like "What?" and it has to be explained to him. Fifty-percent chance he will laugh and the other fifty-percent he will either still not understand it or he doesn't find it funny. Sorry, he's lame. There's an exception and those are ice puns. He has a hard time picking them up. ↳ He gets slightly upset when he receives gold-star stickers, because he knows the meme "you tried". He will feel like he's getting sarcastic compliments which will make him question what he did wrong. ↳ He loves fluffy creatures. He'll hug them and drown his face in them. Don't be surprised if you find him laying on the floor with a dog, holding a cat, or hugging a rabbit. ↳ He likes to drink tea and hot-cocoa. It's a shame that they're hot beverages. He tends to just forget about them, letting them sit until it's lukewarm before drinking it. ↳ When he's burned (touched by anything that is warmer than room-temperature), he will jump away and freeze for a moment, trying to process what just happened. After a while when the shock subsides, he will walk away into some corner or closet and curl up in pain like some baby. Crying will may occur.
