Sons of Sacrifice

The Sons of Sacrifice are similar to Ryan in some respect. Every Son (or Daughter) wears an iron mask that is specifically forged for them and them alone, which holds their soul. Without the mask, the bodies they possess are useless, and therefore the mask is vital to their survival. The iron is specially treated so it does not rust naturally (but this is still possible, and is a fear many Sons of Sacrifice have, for if the mask rusts their soul is either unbound, and must be painfully rebound to another mask, or will remain trapped in the pile of rust that remains.)

The Sons of Sacrifice were formed from the same process Ryan went through, being deceived by someone they trusted and sacrificed to the dark powers. While many remain in hell, fighting off legions of corrupted demons, some prowl the surface for the traitors that took their lives.

Their technology takes on an industrial, practical aesthetic. It doesn't need to look pretty, it needs to work. Often their weaponry looks like it came out of Fallout, being crude yet no less effective. Their vehicles are repurposed cars and trucks, fitted with guns and improvised armor. Occasionally they will be seen having advanced equipment, stolen from Hell's top warriors, or having been reverse engineered from that technology.

Most Sons of Sacrifice become demons themselves, with enough time and exposure to hell's energies, twisting their form, but because of their mask, they are resistant to losing themselves in the corruption process, however they are not immune and tales of corrupted S.O.S's have popped up over time.
