Once a peaceful dragon living along the Tethys Bay in the continent of Ferros, Dianne joined the death cult, The Will of Death in response to the loss of her daughter. Seeking revenge, she joined the cult, becoming a terror feared by all for hundreds of years. Eventually, she was convinced to leave the cult by the demigod Lucci, helping him and the inhabitants of Ferros to destroy the cult. After this event, she went into exile, trying to atone for her deeds and find meaning in her endless drift through time.

Dianne does not trust others easily. She has been through a lot in her long life and has been betrayed by those she trusted many times. To this point, whenever something goes wrong, she has a habit of blaming herself, sometimes illogically. However, when someone does earn her trust, they see a different side of her personality. Dianne is kind and caring to those she considers to be her friends. She is fiercely loyal and a skilled combatant. To those who've just met her, she can come across as arrogant and condescending. She is a very prideful being and considers herself above most.

Dianne physically appears to be a middle aged woman with pitch dark hair, fair skin tone, and red and black eyes. Her back bears a tattoo depicting a stylized skull with blue flowers growing out of it and with red roots coming out of the bottom. Her dragon form is a dull grey with sandy tan stripes and black horns. The tattoo is present in both forms.

Dianne possesses a number of unnatural magical abilities, all pertaining to death and decay. She can whither the flesh with a touch, become like smoke, sap one's magical energy and vitality, raise corpses, and even create magical diseases to unleash on populations. Dianne studied with the Will of Death for many years, knowing much lost knowledge on human and comparative anatomy, the conjuration of spirits, and necromancy.
