A third-year student attending hero school purely out of spite for his parents, who had originally wanted him to follow in their manager footsteps. Souma is a smug bastard who likes to get close to people in order to learn what makes them tick. He is also scared of cats.

Souma's quirk allows him to summon an incredible amount of sparrow-like birds upon whistling a certain pitch. They act at his whistling commands and can conjure large gusts of wind.
