Personality

Citron's personality stems from being a leader. He is very serious and strict, as he has to be in order to command a team and make sure things are always going smoothly on missions. Despite his seriousness, he can be very kind, even if he is monotone generally. He is very giving and brotherly to those he cares about, enjoying caring for others and making sure that they are happy. Citron is also very passionate, especially about space. He isn't talkative and prefers to use nonverbal cues to communicate with others, or by giving gifts to show that he cares, but could talk about past stories of adventure or about the stars for hours.

Citron was originally created by an astronaut looking for a partner. He came across books and old spells in order to make a new friend and created Citron. His initial purpose for him was to simply have a partner for daily tasks while he was on earth, and to have someone to keep an eye on his home while he was away. As the years went on, however, they began to get closer. The two slowly fell in love, caring for each other. His owner had Citron help him train daily from then on, leading up to an expected long and arduous mission that involved multiple years away in space.

The two woefully said goodbye and his partner left to board his ship. The mission went according to plan, all except for when he was to return home, when the engine on the ship went out in deep-space.

Citron waited for him for months, never truly believing that he was gone, before he was pronounced Missing in Action and a funeral was held for him. A lawyer approached Citron, informing him that his partner had him in his will to take everything he had ever owned on one condition; he had to go into space at least once. Because of this, Citron began training in order to become an astronaut, and ended up being chosen to go on a mission to the moon.

The takeoff went well, but once they reached space, something went wrong; the pilot of the ship had health issues from the pressure and went unconscious. Despite no training in being a pilot, Citron took over and contacted the base, managing to get them on the moon safely. From there, the ship’s resident medic cared for the team member until they were able to return back to Earth.

With his proven ability to lead and finish a mission, the Lawyer came back to inform him that he was now entitled to everything in the will and was taken to a large warehouse that contained something he had never expected; a starship. His partner had requested that, in the event of his passing, Citron be given a custom starship he had been building for him, as well as his own team. In thanks for his rescue, the space station also rewarded Citron with his partner’s old team.

From then on, after a few more years of training, Citron has been flying his starship through space with his team, having many adventures and discovering more and more.

Citron’s greatest wish, though, is to someday be reunited with his partner. He doesn’t believe that he’s gone, and his greatest goal is to find him.
