Thomas Oliver Clemont, born in 1829, is a casual rich British dude, y'know, your basic charismatic, brash, calculating villain in search of greater riches. He migrated to Australia in the 1850's on the word of a gold rush, and was certainly not disappointed to find the lands rich with gold. What's better, the land was also rich in pyrite; fool's gold. Quite easy to steal gold and play the fools, isn't it?
