Rue
She/Her | Reflection
Rue is the reflection of a teenage boy who was made fun of for being childish, especially in his interests. The boy enjoyed making clay sculptures and other types of art, which the others he was close to thought was something for little kids, or for girls. Rue became his first real friend when she was created, and supported his interests. However, she was not enough to help him. He ended up committing suicide at 16, and Rue was left without her friend.
Rue found the House of Mirrors by accident. She was invited in by Hira, another reflection, and started out helping her run her shop. Over time, Rue gained experience running Hira's shop while she was out, and began to collect older, more clouded mirrors to start her own shop.
Now, she runs a shop where people can make their own reflections. The mirrors she chose are polished to a slightly clouded sheen, and distort a figure just enough to form a reflection. Rue, while she is young, is an expert in distorting a figure into any form the creator wants their reflection to take, and can pull the young reflection from the mirror.
