history
Naomi Parks met Michael Afton during their time working in a detective agency, where the two of them bonded over their cases, then their experiences as runaways. The two of them would soon become lovers, sharing their beds between investigations and discussing their points on their larger investigation: the Fazbear franchise murders.
Things abruptly came to an end when Michael had to leave thanks to a "favor" his father requested of him. He left a note behind explaining his absence, warning Naomi that he may not make it out alive. At the time, Naomi didn't know that one of their recent trysts left her pregnant, and instead waited for his return.
When it became clear he wasn't coming back, she weighed her options when she did realize that she was pregnant. In the end, she decided to keep the child, naming her Magdalena after Mary Magdalene; "even if he doesn't come back, he won't be forgotten in my eyes", so Naomi reasoned.
As Magdalena grew up, she lived a rather average life. She went to church on Sunday mornings, played in her elementary school's soccer team, and then her high school basketball team.
During her elementary years, though, a soccer ball was kicked over a fence by mistake. Magdalena volunteered to fetch it, only to find herself nearly attacked by the fenced house’s large dog. While she escaped unscathed, she still found herself with a fear of sharp teeth and large dogs.
