I 01 Jaga is a thoughtful and very down to earth lion with a knack for calming others. With a fatherly personality and consistently calm demeanor, he radiates an aura of safety and has encouraged many others to contribute to their society as a whole through his welcoming nature. He is wise and even headed under pressure, and rarely shows anger or frustration. As a dedicated advisor to his mate Kaisa- the leader of their group, he does a lot to help balance out her worries and help her come to well educated decisions. he tends to be very forgiving and able to see things from many sides and perspectives, making him a great mediator and teacher. He isn't a fighter, isn't ambitious- and isn't assertive, often making it seem like he's a bit of a pushover. Lacking any fighting skills often leads to him being questioned by other members of the group, though he tries to keep the peace best as he can.

I 05 Jaga's main goal is just to provide a safe place for his family- and to see his mate happy. He feels as if he owes her a lot for providing him not only with what he's learned and the confidence to push forward- but for the family they share together. he wants to see her dream of a united and flourishing society come to pass and will do anything to help her achieve this. He has a few side goals for himself-  such as wanting to earn some sort of fighting skills in order to protect his partner, but he doesn't really have the mindset of a warrior. He'd also like to be a grandfather one day and see his children succeed their parents in the future. He's very grounded, and tends to set small goals throughout the day for himself to achieve as they help him structure his thoughts better. He tends to be supportive of the goals of other members of the group, often helping them with them and making their dreams his own.

I 06 Jaga's biggest fear would most certainly be losing his family. They are everything to him and to him- a representation of all he has built and accomplished. It would be devastating to lose his mate or any of his cubs- regardless of the reason for its occurrence. He would likely suffer from it for years following, and feeling like a failure for being unable to save them as a result. Being totally alone would be his absolute worst case scenario- as he doesn't deal with loneliness well, as he's almost never been completely alone in his entire life and as a result doesn't know how to cope with the concept of not having anyone else around to learn from or teach. His worst nightmare is having no one left to fill the silence of the world that he secretly fears, and thats part of the reason he goes to such extreme lengths at times to surround himself with as many others as he can.

I 13 Jaga is pretty dismissive/uncaring of disrespect in his direction. He doesn't appreciate it -but he isn't the type to lash out or behave with offense or anger in almost any situation. If anything, he'll behave as a scolding father- relaying disappointment in the person's choice of character and behavior rather than outright admonishing them. He may be more defensive about insults or rudeness directed at his family, and will defend them to some degree-or try and deviate the person's attention to himself rather than his cubs or partner, but any attacks on his own character are more or less irrelevant to him. He's pretty good at turning away and ignoring them. If pressed- he'll probably just avoid the person until they behave properly- if they particularly push his buttons, he does have a bit of a passive aggressive streak about punishing them in somewhat petty ways to make his displeasure known.

I 14 Jaga's greatest strength is his attitude. He's very fatherly and his earnest in wanting to help others ensures he has plenty of individuals willing to help him in times of crisis. Whether he's taught them important life lessons, been there when they needed someone, or helped them turn their lives around. His strength is in his trust in others and their likewise trust in him-as he can always rely on someone within his group to have his back and defend him if he absolutely needed it. His dedication to helping others gives him confidence to face any foe with the knowledge that he's made a difference and others will see that. What he lacks in fighting skills, he makes up for in being personable and relatable, and what he lacks in assertiveness- he makes up for in kindness. He leaves a trail of karma in his wake that most certainly benefits him later in life.

I 03 Jaga was one of the lions given intelligence by human scientists alongside his partner, Kaisa. Though not one of the first- he was one of the earlier projects and quickly took to the life of study and learning with the lioness that would become his family. He was originally born and raised in the dwindling wilds- having very random and spotty recollections of a wild lion pride struggling to survive. Rescued by well intentioned humans, he was brought in and cared for in their home until the time he was too large to live with them any longer. Without any skills (or any space) to be released- he was brought in by the scientific organization working with lions in order to be their next project. He started his 'intelligent' life as very skittish and afraid, reluctant to trust others, but Kaisa won over his trust- and eventually his heart. He worked with her to convert the old lab into something productive and help her build a place that would be safe for those willing to seek it.

I 04 Jaga's role in the group is to be that of an ambassador, someone to relate to the members of the group in a better way than his partner, Kaisa is able. he's a wise and calm voice of reason that anyone within the group can reliably turn to for kindness and an open ear. He also takes the role of encouraging others to join by being well versed in communication, and having a knack for imparting his calm attitude on others that he meets. He also acts as a good welcoming face to those that they are able to administer the serum and impart intelligence onto- often teaching them the basics before Kaisa works with them for more advanced aspects of life. When nothing else needs done, he's trying to keep his partner in a manageable stress range and spending time with his own cubs- or other cubs within the group. Often telling them stories or showing them new things so that they can learn and keep open minds as well.
