Elian is the epitome of cheerful. A boy filled to the brim with a positive attitude, a smile always across his lips and a playful wink to accompany it.

He's always been that sort! The cup is always half full with him, and he'll always do his best to find the positives. But don't be swayed so easily- he's a bit of a brat on top of that. Elian is always playful, enjoying a good laugh and making light of all situations. He can play harmless pranks on those he loves, and poking fun gently from time to time. The reverse is true- you can make jests at his expense. It's all in good fun! 

It's unsurprising to say that love and romance are things he treasures highly- as expected of somebody whose ruled by his heart more than his logical brain. He falls in love quickly and deeply, always in a prime position to have his heart broken. It's because of his fragile heart being trampled once that has led to him becoming fearful of making meaningful relationships.

Though he's warm and sociable, he rarely sticks around to get to know others. Instead, he chooses to wander the lands, meeting people and saying good bye all within the same breath. Don't get him wrong, deep down, he really wants to fall in love and be loved- but he's scared. 

It's difficult for him to overcome hardships. He knows he's not alone, but his heart won't allow him to move forward. He carries burdens far longer than he needs to, and tries to shoulder things alone. He dislikes difficult situations, and it's clear he's the sort to run away from it- rather than fix it head-on. 

【 STORY 】

BACKSTORY

"Hi! You're a God, aren't you?"

It was many years ago- a bit over 17,400 years ago- that Elian was born in the country of Dasvezo; The Land of Nature. He was born into the largest, most devout city. It was easy to cherish the world around him, and he followed the God's teachings with his entire heart. Still, his earnest and straightforward nature was what made him stand out against the others.

He loved roaming the area, and was always aware of a special location, where the water gave off a glow, the flowers were plentiful, the wildlife calm and a large tree provided shelter from the elements. Elian always knew it was a special location; he hadn't realized it was the God of Nature's special location. After a bit of observing, he realized who the ethereal figure was. Elian approached the God and without a single fear in his heart and that bright smile on his lips, introduced himself. 

It was this first meeting that sparked a lasting friendship that turned romantic. Over time, the God of Nature made a proposal. He wanted to perform a ritual with Elian- he wanted to become human, and in return, Elian would claim the title of God of Nature. Without much thought, Elian agreed and the two soon swapped. It was this that ultimately led to his broken heart.

Elian spent much time roaming the lands, learning about his new powers; the old God of Nature did likewise, learning the ways of humans. As time ticked by, the two started to drift apart. However, Elian's feelings never subsided; imagine his despair when he learned the God of Nature had fallen for another human. 

Now Elian spends his days lonely and wandering, filling the void with empty relationships. 

CURRENT

"You thought I was a girl? Haha, I'm flattered~!"

In his lonely years, Elian sought to gain the love of his followers. He gifted more and more to his lands- only to realize his people hadn't prayed for these things and thus took them for granted. Over time, people began to feel that Nature was a weak element, that the earth was plentiful needing to plead to the God of Nature for plentiful crops and successful hunting trips. As he lost followers to other elements, slowly, Elian began to shrink. It was difficult to notice- he was always a small man. But the other Gods knew Elian well, and saw that he was dying before them. This proved a problem, if Elian were to die, so to would nature. The world itself would wilt away. 

Elian is comfortable in the mortal realm, and is accompanied by another God, Siku. The two decide to try to restore faith within Elian's followers, to try to convert others and ensure their world does not fade away with Elian. Over time, he meets others humans that wish to accompany him; for whatever reasons, each one different...

RACE

Elian was once a human, born of human parents. However he is one of only three humans in the world to have performed a ritual with a God to swap places. Now, Elian is a god. He feels he can carry out his duties well, considering he knows how to act as a god as well as what it means to be human.
