personality traits
The first thing I do in a new place is note the locations of everything valuable - or where such things could be hidden.
I've spent so long in the temple that I have little practical experience dealing with people in the outside world.

flaws
It's not stealing if I need it more than someone else.
ideals
I seek to prove myself worthy of my god's favor by following her teachings.
bonds
I owe a debt I can never repay to the goddess who took pity on me.
Quest was orphaned as a child and raised by priests in a small church worshipping the goddess Masaam. He was brainwashed into believing that he had to be kind and obedient to atone for the sins of his ancestors. Though he tried his hardest, the priests seemed to never be satisfied with his efforts. Eventually he gave up and realised that he would be reprimanded no matter what he did, but if he misbehaved and skipped classes, at least he had fun for a while.
Since then he got regularly locked up in an attic to rethink his actions, but one such day a fire broke out in the temple. He would’ve perished along with the rest of the priests if it wasn’t for the mercy of Masaam. She heard his plea for help and answered it. “Devote your body and soul to me and I shall save you”. And as she spoke, a crowbar, unnoticed until now lying amidst common attic clutter, gleamed with red light. Quest agreed to become her faithful disciple, pried the door open and escaped.
Inexperienced with social customs and life outside the temple he became a thief to support himself, but that did not satisfy the goddess. Eager to prove himself worthy of having been saved, Quest ventured out into the world to slay monsters and save folk in distress. All to bring glory and new worshippers to Masaam.

Quest of Redemption for Elemental Evil
His full name, given to him by the rovers who took him in (they considered "A sinners quest of retribution for elemental evil and the inherited misdeeds of his antecessors", but decided it was too long). It relates to the fact that they made him believe that Tieflings are elementally evil. That's why his mother abandoned him and that's why he has to work harder than anyone else to make up for being evil. Even if he is accepted by the goddess for who he is, he still has to spend the rest of his life repenting for the crimes of his ancestors which he inherited by simply being born.
Simon the Astral Spider
His minion, attracted to his dagger carved from a fang of one such spider.
Creed of Masaam
Kinship of Masaam's followers. Current priest count: 1.
Nemesis
Tordek - a nasty friend thief, who brainwashes people into joining his cult of the Raven Queen.
