Body Shape: Muscular, his crocodile body combined with the combatant instincts he’d honed for several years. It had only been three years before that he’d taken to skulking around, and his build is surprisingly deceiving on that front.

Skin: An umberish color (#855036), with a rough and scaly feel.

Mutations: Gained a humanoid shape and sentience. If any more experimentation had been done beyond that, it hasn’t shown up.

Piercings: None.

Scars: Several scars on his torso and arms, implied to be from past victims who’d fought back.

Likes: Warmth, meat, books, sneaking around

Guilty Pleasures:

— Reading: Teaching himself to read, Samael soon found himself drawn to all sorts of written works, sometimes curling up with a book for hours on end. It’s one of the few activities that manages to calm Samael down to approachable levels.

— Sneaking around: A surprising thing for a large croc, Samael enjoys skulking about after having picked it up for a few years, and still does so in order to make sure Levina’s not getting herself into something stupid. He occasionally does it to spook untrusted “houseguests” and even Levina (who usually whacks him for being a dick).

– Combat Information –

Weapons: He prefers to use his tail and claws in battle, although Levina insists on having him carry around a knife for his own safety.

Training: Due to living in a lab for a great number of years, he has no formal training; however, he can instinctively judge how best to attack his target.

Strategy: He prefers to observe his opponents first before striking; if he lets his instincts take over, the attack will become very brutal.

– History –

An ordinary crocodile in a shelter, he was passed along to a group of budding scientists when he was ten years old, who were under the guise of moving him to another zoo.

However, these scientists were actually the starters of a genetic mutation laboratory, and he was their first successful mutation–to a point.

He was still very incredibly feral, and although he was sentient, the scientists encouraged him to remain in a mostly feral state, often feeding him their failed test subjects; these test subjects were beings that never gained sentience, although a few sentient ones did manage to make their way in as the laboratory grew more and more corrupt.

One day, a turtle girl was tossed in for him to eat, but he’d found himself barreled into the door and allowing both himself and the girl to escape; impressed, he escaped the laboratory and attempted to follow her trail to New York.

Although he found her in the sewers, however, he forced himself to watch over her from a distance, should anything go wrong.

Several years later, Samael approached the girl, and after her initial shock, the two decided to live together so that their abilities could be put to their best use, and so that they could share resources.
