As a typical bard would, Wolfe traveled to Gewich, a desert city bordering on the Huaratri Jungle. In Gewich, he met a sun-elf by the name of Amra Theyor and immediately was drawn towards her. Yada yada, they eventually settled down together after a bit and decided to have kids. Wolfe was still a typical bard who never wanted to be held down, but he also wanted to try out the whole family deal.
They had a set of very sickly half-elf twins together, and Wolfe stayed around for about a year and a half before leaving Amra alone with the twins. Amra was extremely upset by this, and chose to isolate herself with the twins in the Huaratri Jungle, eventually garnering rumors that she was a violent witch due to how she wouldn’t allow anyone in her part of the jungle. Amra lived in a cave that she adapted into a living space, and she raised the twins on her own while surviving off the plants and animals in the jungle.
Growing up, Leo and his sister, Alissa, were allowed to do pretty much whatever they wanted as long as it didn’t include interacting with those of the towns surrounding the jungle. They would hear stories from Amra’s life, and had numerous books to read that Amra had brought with her. Mixed in with the stories, she would also tell them about Wolfe; it would mostly consist of painting a horrible image of him with a heavy emphasis on how deceiving she perceived changelings to be. Leo would grow up to resent that side of his family, and although he doesn’t dislike Wolfe, he just wishes that he wasn’t his dad.
Leo eventually got better for the most part around age 12, although his strength was permanently affected by how sickly he was. Alissa, however, did not get better and began to get weaker. Leo began to write stories and collect things for his sister as she kept getting weaker. She eventually died at age 17, and her death sent Amra into the absolute depths of despair. Leo was also saddened by her death, but distracted himself with taking care of his mother. During the little free time he had, he would continue to distract himself with writing; he would write all kind of characters and stories that he wished he could interact with and be in. However, he also realized that due to the fact he had such a narrow world view, he could never truly portray reality.
It became his aspiration to meet all kinds of people around Asolan, but he ignored that in favor of taking care of his mother. He continued to do this for another 3 years, until his mother eventually passed away herself. Leo quickly left the jungle after his mother passed away, packing only the bare minimum due to his strength. He specifically took the books that he was inspired by, and took a journal that Wolfe had left behind with Amra. He uses this journal for his interviews and writings, and cherishes it. Leo has been travelling for the past 2 years, developing his skills and writing all along the way.
