Atlas

Atlas is getting on in years, even for a dragon. He's both blind and lost a leg in an accident related to the blindness, which means he often enlists the help of younger, more able-bodied companions to help guide him around (and provide him with friendship). Atlas possesses both the power to fly and the power to bend water, but prefers not to use these powers unless necessary as he likes to appear more as a kindly old grandpa than a powerful ancient entity.

• Like Mordecai, Atlas is one of the few dragons in my dragonriding universe with intelligence equal to that of a human. It's because he's thousands of years old, though, rather than any supernatural influence.
