Hazeclaw has matured since her kithood, having become wiser and more serious with age. However, she still has a playful glint in her eye and spring in her step. Far from cold and calculating, this smoky she-cat is more maternal with her heart wide open to those who wish it and is an open book. The warrior has a kind and loving demeanor to her clan mates, no matter how snarky they may be to her in return. She is never rude or short with any cat and probably never will be. Hazeclaw is no pushover despite her small size, which her swiftness and muscular build that she gained during rigorous training with her mentor Dappleshiver make up for.

Ever since the accident with the river, when she was washed downstream into the hands of twolegs, Hazeclaw has become quite afraid when near it, but refuses to show her anxiety to others. And since she was spayed by the vet after her kidnapping, unfortunately, Hazeclaw is no longer able to have kits. 

Hazeclaw was killed by the tyrannical leader of Riverclan, Slatestar for speaking out against his wrongful way of ruling by banishing her from the clan. Saying she'd rather die than leave her clan. To which the leader happily oblijed. He murdered her there and then in his den when issuing her punishment. And Hazeclaw was welcomed into Starclan by her mother, Skyfeather, with open arms and lots of tears.
