FORM PMR-1014B: Behavioral information of dittech holder.

Personality

Vain - Brash - Eccentric - Extroverted - Wild - Impulsive - Rude

Being both disgustingly vain and brash makes for one headache of a combo. Kazu is purposely eccentric in terms of making acquaintances, living strongly to the motto: here for a good time not a long one. He’s an aggressor for the sake of always being hungry for fights and measures others on just how strong they are. It’s a problem from his past that he isn’t fully aware of being a bad thing. It doesn’t always mean physically though, and over the years Kazu has come to respect those with wits as their strengths. This does make him a classic bully to those who seem “pathetic” or “weak” by his own terms.

With that, he’s extremely extroverted to almost a fault and goes absolutely bonkers if he’s got no one to talk or spend time with. He doesn’t care if it’s an enemy or a friend, he craves the reaction and attention that any sort of interaction can bring. He’s wild and impulsive in that sense but over the years it's gotten a bit better in the sense that he values his own reputation amongst others. Even with that, Kazu can still come across as rude; he assumes himself above everyone unless, as stated, they’ve got some sort of power. In which case, maybe you can qualify to be in his ‘respected’ circle - it's just getting him there.

Background

Origin

Kazu was with his espeon mother for just a blink of his life - both of them belonging to an eldery couple that ran a boarding and care house for contest pokemon that were on the mend or just needed a place to stay. It was a well known establishment in Johto, both for the quality of pokemon that came from the eldery couple and the care provided to the mons that were boarded there.

Sadly for Kazu and his mother, Kazu was targeted as a snubbull for a pokemon-napping due to pedigree. The operation was a success and the thieves made way with the ugly little thing; profiting off of him to some poachers they sold him off to later on. He didn’t hate his new life at the beginning, his ‘trainer’ paired him up with strong teammates and he enjoyed the fighting. Kazu blew through his levels, excelling at the tasks he’d be ordered onto - hunting down other rare pokemon. It ended up not being the most glamorous life, and at times he felt guilty for the gruesome orders his trainer would have him abide by, but Kazu didn’t see how he could end up anywhere else and running away didn’t seem an attainable option.

Turning Point

The team were revered in the poaching rings, causing quite a ruckus at the same time, with wins in treasures and valuable pokemon under their belts. But, Kazu’s original trainer got reckless in his comfort. He was louder about his presence in wins and in doing that let his own guard down.

Karma flew down from the sky one day, his prize … and originally stolen pokemon was swiped from him by a corviknight. It didn’t take Kazu long after being offered a dittech to latch onto the promise of a different shot at life. Once the wobbles of learning new ropes he even realized just how much he liked making his own calls.

Kazu liked taking care of himself, no longer relying on his trainer to call the shots or taking orders - and was comforted by the absence of guilt that had been originally present in fights. He still lacked morals that had to be taught and life lessons that were sure to come - but at least he could fight and BOTH halves seemed to be having fun.

Presently

After years in the Apelleon fight ring (about two) he jumped to Nessie’s club, before finally swapping scenes again after fighting for three years there and scoring a spot at Erza’s. He’s been at the club for a couple of years now, spotlighting in the fight pits but now doubling as both a fighter and bouncer for the club. It's no surprise that Kazu sticks around the fight pits mostly - giving his knack for wanting to seek strong opponents to further himself and just the buzz of the underground keeping him on his toes and excited. He genuinely loves his job and the fights. He also loves Mr. Rimes Diner and late night spots of the same sort. His day time hobbies vary, but he’s a pest to most shopkeepers as he pokes around for entertainment.

Déjà Vécu

A hand reaching out - help from the blinding lights and deafening roars of a crowd. Toothy grins and friendly bops over the head. Sounds of too many bracelets and jewelry jingling together through secret handshakes and highfives in the middle of busy streets.

Street food kiosks, and corner store groceries.

“Get UP already!”
