Ya Nui

Ya Nui is named after the tropical, sleepy Phuket beach she watches over. So long as Ya Nui is awake, her waters are clear and calm. When she slumbers, the currents rush in to embolden the waves, and the beach becomes a dangerous and murky place to swim. She is the sister of Nai Harn. Their homes are separated only by a hill with a windmill on it.
