- Their design is somewhat based on the Kaminoan, Taun We, who appears in Attack of the Clones.
- Despite hating their race, they still hold a lot of traits that Kaminoans have such as only caring about themself unless any form of helping others can be profitable and they show very little signs of over flamboyant personality traits.
- They aren't shy. They just think simple conversation is pointless so they won't say anything.
- Usually comes off rude when speaking. It's just how they sound so don't be angy at them :(
Vepan is not one for small talk. Or any kind of talk for that matter. If they need to speak up about something, they will. Rarely will they reply back to a question unless it needs to be answered. They have high opinions on the galaxy and they way they deal with the war, meaning that despite their rarely speaking side, they will lash out if their opinion is in danger. They care for their friends as that is what they were trained to do and they are very very smart, able to calculate around an attack on the group if necessary.
Vepan was born on Kamino, Vepan was trained from an early age to help work in the cloning facilities for the Clone Wars.
After they completed their training, they were briefed on why these Clones meant so much to the Kaminoans. They were bred to kill the Jedi upon Darth Sidious's order. After thinking for so long that they were doing good for the galaxy, they ran away from their planet, running to tell the council on Coruscant the news.
They soon ran into Efon, Cann and BK, a small group of bounty hunters that agreed to take Vepan to the Senate and tell them the news that they just discovered. Sadly, however, the Kaminoans got there first, claiming Vepan was a traitor and trying to destroy the cloning facilities.
Vepan, feeling defeated, decided to stick to this little group they joined, vowing to find a way to get the information to the Senate somehow.
The two met during Vepan's quest to warn the Senate of the Kaminoan's real plans. Due to Efon's strong opinion on both the Senate, Jedi and Separatists, she was reluctant to let Vepan even near the ship and herself, but with enough convincing from Cann, she finally let Vepan join, but she was still hesitant around the Kaminoan, and to this day, still is.
Vepan hired Cann to take him to Coruscant due to stories they'd heard about the Nautolan pilot. Sending an anonymous business message to the bounty hunter, Cann agreed to take them to their location. The two got along really well, although Cann (in Vepan's opinion) can talk under wet cement he talked that much to the distressed Kaminoan.
Not many people seem to like Kaminoans in the galaxy. Well that's what Vepan understood after meeting both Efon and Bexu. The Togruta was always grumpy around the Kaminoan, snapping at them whenever they talked up about something or was simply having a civil debate with Bexu. But the two work really well together in battle. Bexu using Vepan's height as a tool whilst Vepan uses Bexu's strength as a tool.
A droid is a droid. Merely programmed to do one thing and one thing only. Yet Vepan was surprised at BK when it was talking casually to the group as though it was human. It has a personality, likes, dislikes, interests. It just goes to show how much the planet Kamino and its inhabitants are shut off from the big wide world.
