 | Sockz the Puppeteer You'll find Sockz volunteering at the local library every Friday. Bringing her handmade puppets in a colorful suitcase in order to put on a show for the neighborhood children. She herself is quite childish in her mannerisms and has no problem playing along with children's babbling and games. Sockz will Volunteer wherever she can be needed for any task. She suffers from separation anxiety and needs to be around others to feel happy. Being alone in her empty home is enough to bring her to tears. But you can't always have a person around 24/7. This is where the puppets she makes come in, they are always there for her whenever she needs them. She could make a puppet out of anything. Socks, Cups, fabric, it's all she does. She names every one of them no matter how shabby and gives them a little personality. It takes away the sting of loneliness. The young neighborhood children love her, while the older kids think she's crazy talking to socks. |  |
 | Trivia The dog puppet she has is named Otis. It's made of the body of her deceased puppy. Otis died in her arms one sunny day after a larger dog had run into her front yard and ripped him to shreds. She couldn't let her puppy go. But Otis lives on in her memories and in the children's library theater, as a happy puppy playing with his friends. After Otis had passed, she cannot shake the thought that she must bring her loved ones back to life in the form of a puppet. Not for some sick game, but because she loves them and doesn't want to be lonely again. The reason she chose puppets is that you are able to move their mouths and speak for them, pretending they are talking back to you. Her life took a turn for the better after she met Jay at one of her library puppet shows. |  |
