Kindness • Positivity • Gentleness
Keenan grew up as a member of a big family - has three siblings and they were extremely close and that didn't change even after they grew up any everyone went out to find their own path. Still they take heir time to meet from time to time and keep in touch and exchange stories with each other. He was always a happy, fun guy to be around, but even though he is as positive as his brother Finn, he managed to have a more down to the ground perosnality, not that naive and his younger brother, more aware of the world and how things are going and definitely not seeing only the good things in other horses. Keenan is a great observer and can tell if the other horse tries to trick him or not.
When the siblings reached the yound adulthood, they knew they won't stay at home, even though their homeland is welcoming and lovely, but the youngsters wanted to see the world, so their journey separated them. While this was hard, they all were excited for what the future may holds for them. Just like his brother, he also loves to collect stories and share those stories with others of mystical tales and great adventures, be it his own ones or some ancient tales he heard on the road.
While Keenan is very friendly with other horses he is not that naive to think everyone has a good heart and all they need is just some kindness to change the world to a better place. This is a very great idea, but nothing more than an idea. So he is extremely worried for Finn when they meet and his brother announces he has a new travelling partner, named Céleste. As Finn introduces her and super excited about her, Keenan is suspicious about her, seeing she has nothing good inside her, just extreme hunger and selfishness and it means a great danger to Finn, who is so naive and so full of naive ideas about a perfect world that is not existing. He shares these worries with Finn, but Finn is unswerving, claiming he knows about Céleste's nature, but also believes she can change - and this is something the siblings disagree of. Keenan urges Finn to leave Céleste as far behind as he can, but he refuses - and this is causing some tension between the brothers for a while. He will never get along with Céleste and will never fully accept the fact Finn wanna travel with her for good, but he also sees Céleste slowly truly accepts Finn as her family member and does everything to protect him. And after all Céleste needs Finn's positivity to be less destructive and Finn needs to see how the world is actually working and Céleste is the perfect candidate for that, ever since she is liek a big slap in the face. After years the peace will return between the brothers, their relationship will loose the tension and even though he will never accept Céleste, he can learn to tolerate her and she will do the same. Even though he is a brave little horse, hates conflicts and usually tries to avoid them, but stands up if he has to to protect the ones he loves. Challenging Céleste would do good for anyone though - she is stronger, a better figther and a magic user and Finn would never forgive him either, so he accepts the fact his brother cannot be protected forever and hen eeds some valuablel essons to learn, eventually.
After spendin many years of travelling and gaining experience and knowledge - Keenan is smart horse, quick learner, just like his brother and has very good diplomatic skils - finally feels like time to settle down somewhere nice, close to his brith home but still finding something new, a place on his own. And later a possible mate and foals. He loves the idea of having a family and loves foals as well, once he is settled down Keenan happily teaches everything he knows to generations of foals.
