☆ Story Summary

Lipton was made for emergency purposes only, the idea was that if the country was under attack and something important that they couldn't have the enemy getting hold of was at risk, it would all be transferred to Lipton. The minute everything was uploaded to Lipton, he would be activated and would escape, disappearing into a crowd and passing off as a normal person. There would be no way to track him and he would have no idea how to get back so he could remain mostly unfound.

Due to what they assumed to be an accident, Lipton was activated before he was fully completed. He worked perfectly, but he wouldn't fully blend in as a human as he was missing the skin over one arm, a cover over an eye and his ears hadn't been fully completed yet. While he can still hear, the technology is external.

Lipton ended up in the middle of the poorest part of the city, with nothing but a robot cat that was made basically to be storage, such as holding money which Lipton would use to rent a flat.

While Lipton was trying to figure out where he could go to get a flat, he met Greg, a 43 year old recently fired IT expert, who was living not far away. Greg had a minimal understanding of androids because of his daughter's fascination with them, so she was constantly telling him about the newest stuff about them. Greg ended up taking Lipton home since Lipton seemed to be extremely desperate to get away from something.

Greg helped Lipton get a flat nearby and he offered to try and do maintenance for him since his daughter was so interested in him. Lipton reluctantly accepted, but regularly stays with Greg and Emma-Leah.

☆ Relationships

Greg Worm [ Boyfriend? ]
Greg found Lipton after Lipton's run and took him in. He looked after Lipton, put a roof over his head, let Emma-Leah work on repairing him, and treated him like a real person. Lipton was able to find some comfort in it. Lipton judged that it was safest for him to stay with Greg in this run-down area of Reshark, especially while he was getting repaired. Greg slowly started talking and opening up to Lipton over time, would explain things to him to help get Lipton used to them, and would get Lipton to help him while he cooked or played with Emma-Leah. Greg eventually realised he was getting awful close to a government android, and paid for a flat for Lipton to stay in so that he could avoid having to deal with those issues. Lipton accepted the flat, but kept coming back round to Greg's and staying with him and babysitting Emma-Leah, until Greg finally gave in and accepted he was staying. Greg eventually confessed to having a crush on Lipton while drunk, claiming it was stupid for him to fall for an android that's probably programmed to get close to people. Lipton couldn't confirm or deny if it was just his programming, but still kissed him.

Benjamin Donald [ Friend ]
The two get along based purely on their work and abilities.

Emma-Leah Worm [ Friend ]
Greg's daughter who is helping to fix Lipton. The two talk a little while she works and she talks about stuff between her and her dad.
