Crystimum Authority

Crystimum:

• Crystallini: Latin for Diamonds
• Ultimum: Latin for Ultimate

The Crystimum Authority is a long-known organization by most parts of space, which was led by Diamonds who then created other smaller Diamonds. Some of these smaller Diamonds then went on to make more Diamonds, but this is a rarer occurrence.

White Diamond was one of these smaller diamonds, who created fellows of her own, then made the Diamond Authority. However, she doesn't remember who exactly created her, leading her to believe she essentially just "woke up" one day, decided to spread her greatness, and bam. But...there's a lot more than that, some of which involved the fact that White was essentially abandoned by her creator for unknown reasons.

As far as who leads the Crystimum Authority? Several of the oldest diamonds, aged beyond belief.

As for who created them? There's a rumor that most of these Diamonds can't really substantiate, about a singular creator made from every Gem known and unknown to Gemkind, but this is the most you'd really get information-wise to answer that question.

Only the most powerful Gems know the truth behind the Crystimum Authority, one of these being Rainbow Diamond.
