Ana's OC Story

‼️ Warning:

This is a summary of an old story of mine, not a new creation. I see a lot of mistakes in the structure and the whole plot, so I cannot consider it my success at the moment. I have other better OC-stories to share, by which I allow you to judge my skill. But please, DO NOT CRITICIZE this one.

Anastasia’s OC-story in a few paragraphs

Summary

Ana was born in a leopard-colored wildcat family in the forest among her 8 sisters. Her family found it right for all the sisters to stay the same and “work as a team” they didn’t respect the identities of each of the children, non of them even had a name, everyone was equal. As a pretty selfish and ambitious character, Ana was the only one from her family not enjoying this lifestyle, so she found herself sneaking out to the village and having fun with her friends there, where she happened to be really special (that’s also the place where she got her name). She spent a lot of time with them there, they even became her true family.

One day, she had a terrible fight with her mother (I won’t dive into details here), after which she escaped far into the forest and got lost, even though she knew it was extremely dangerous, since the forest was full of mysterious vicious hybrid creatures. That night she met Elisa, who was one of such forest inhabitants, but turned out to be friendly. After she shared her sad story (I won’t dive into details here), Anastasia quickly made friends with the white she-cat and stayed in her place to continue her life there, forgetting about her past. It turned out that Elisa, as a hybrid, had a power to control other brains, which she used to develop a new bright unique outfit for her friend (I won’t dive into details here). Ana was extremely grateful to Elisa for all the help she gave her and started fully trusting her.

But one night, she saw her friend sneaking out to have a talk to someone else. Those were other hybrid creatures, probably the white cat’s companions, standing over the leftovers of the dead body of Mira (Anastasia’s friend from the village). Elisa didn’t seem to mind, she even talked to the hybrids about Ana as her prey. The red she-cat was shocked, that’s when she realized the truth, who are really the ones she needed to care about, and who - are not. She immediately stormed away in the opposite direction, and after a few days of wandering, she finally got to her home village. She figured out Mira went looking for her in the forest, where she got killed. Her love, Bublyk, who went with her, didn’t manage to stop the hybrids, so after informing about her death to the village, the dark cat escaped back into the forest, devastated. Everyone was angry at Ana, this loss was her fault, especially since she didn’t really get into trouble, but made friends with their biggest enemies, replaced her true family with them for a selfish reason. Raila forced the red she-cat to come with her looking for Bublyk, and Ana agreed through the fear of being endangered, still doubting about that choice but blaming herself somewhere deep inside.

Anastasia and Raila travelled a long way before by wonder finding their friend, but as they were about to return, someone stood in their way. It was Elisa, upset, angry, mad. She insisted that Ana left her, and accused the leopard she-cat of replacing her with Raila, as if loosing her mind with jealousy. Elisa took over the control of Anastasia, and the main character, as if a puppet, attacked her friend. Bublyk tried to stop her, but it did not help. Raila was shocked, she refused to fight and Ana was about to kill her, but then she took all her strength to win the control back for a moment, which she used to jump on Elisa and kill her in a one sudden accurate bite. But, obviously, this fight didn’t end well for Ana. At the last moment, Elisa pierced the red she-cat with one of her claws, and both cats fell, still. It was a sacrifice. At her last moments of life, Anastasia wasn’t sure what happened to Raila, Bublyk and others, but she knew she did all she could to pay the right price for the accident…

The basic idea of this story is that the protagonist used to be a selfish and ungrateful character, (this personality was for sure developed by her opposition to her equalist family). She did a very irresponsible act for a personal reason, not considering that it might have an effect on her true family and friends, which led to a huge loss and left her in misery. Until the last moment, all she cared about was her own life and safety, until the act of Elisa didn’t make her realize the truth. And, for the first time, she put her friend before her, despite that it was a sacrifice of her own. She gave up her life by finally killing the enemy, but it felt good to know that it was a step of cleaning up the mess she caused, knowing that she did the right thing.

Shortly,

Don’t forget who you are and those you truly care about, before it’s too late…
