Hi! me and my friend Candy_Cat1202 have been brainstorming about making a species and we have an idea we are really enjoying! And we wanted to see if anyone was intrested in the idea, and/or could give us some tips or ideas for it!! Still very bare-bones so any help is appreciated- here is what we have so far!
Feline/canine like species, with skulls as the head and bone-like armour growing on and around their body. They are very skinny and lean with tendril like whiskers that can glow on command and when they are having strong emotions! These tendrils are very flexible and pure muscle, so some use them as an extra set of hands. They are also often used to communicate over distances.
They are nocturnal and spend their days sleeping or in a burrow/cave to keep out of the harsh suns. Mostly scavengers and hunt small prey.
When upset or in danger they can emit a heavy, thick smoke from their nose and mouth. Which acts like a make-shift smoke bomb and helps them blend into the dusty air.
We have talked about them being allowed to have anthro forms, but the base design must always be feral! Here is the first sketch/base idea for them.
