woah sorry for the late reply. thank you so much!! Uhhh, i only shade when im rendering a whole piece, I just like having fun playing with colors x]
I just sketch as usual and then clean up that sketch, after that i start playing with colors. I like to contrast different colors and mess things up until a good color mix comes up, then i just add the lineart on top (if the lineart has been covered by the colors) Using reference helps a lot too when I don't know what colors to use or match Dx
