i just wanted to say thank you so much for all the nice things you said to me / about quil & for faving him - i'm having a rough day and that was just very nice to see, really picked up my mood. thank you <3 (and as you said, it was also so nice to see someone else who loves the realms!!)

Aww, I'm so glad!!

The praise is all very well deserved, you character profiles are so thorough and researched I'm really impressed!
I can tell you put a lot of thought, work, and love into them and that's very admirable.

dafdjafla seriously that is so sweet i cried a little. that means so much to hear. thank you so much!!

Are you a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist?

I am, but Alphonse is also just my first name!

...oh

I’m sorry...

No it's ok! I'm not angry at all, haha.
It does happen a lot.

I do really enjoy FMA though!

That’s cool. I like it too.

oh interesting. most people watch 2011 first, so it's kinda cool you're starting with 1999.

i like both versions, of course, i really enjoy the artistry of 1999 but i like the color pallets and voice acting in 2011 MUCH more
there are also a couple of bits of filler in 1999 that are :/ but most of it is very good. 2011 also does a big fucky at the beginning where their remove the entire backstory with Kite which is :// so it's good that you're starting with 1999 honestly because then you won't be confused later sgdygsydgys.

the manga is definitely the best version still narratively speaking, although i miss the sound design and colors at times, so if you ever get the time I SUPER suggest reading the manga!!

oh do you have any questions in particular about nen? i like to think i understand it pretty well, so if there is anything in specific you're confused about i may be able to help.

yeah... the manga can be PRETTY hard to find, someone bought me the full set of it for my birthday so im pretty lucky but i've never had any luck finding it near me. the only time i saw a store that had any reasonable amount of it was when i was at a japanese book store in new york city which is obviously not a sustainable way to get my hxh fix considering that's like at least like a 2 or 3 hour drive.
i've had a couple odd bookstores that have SOME of it,, but usually only like volumes 1, 2 and then like 34 or something?? dsgdsyg
