Greetings, visitors! My name is Amanda and I'm just a lowly furry artist.
I have a passion for drawing my monstrous furry female characters (that I call Monsteria) and I also enjoy drawing other people's characters and sonas. I hope to spread positivity and support to other small artists here. I appreciate all the support I can get, as I've only been seriously drawing and studying art for the past 4 years.

Just wanted to type up a little end-of-year reflection.
I never realized how much I changed this year until I stopped to think about it...
Earlier this year, I re-read the book, "The Power of Now" and discovered the bliss of learning to stay in the present moment and meditation and stopping useless mind activity from dragging down my true self. I still lean on the Now when I find myself dreading the future or thinking about something bad that happened to me in the past.
This was also the year I had to break it off with a friend who was emotionally manipulating me and just being incredibly entitled and refusing to accept help from me in getting out of a bad situation...after a few years of this, I finally decided enough was enough.
One of the best discoveries I made this year was the furry community! After years and years of being fascinated with the furry community off-and-on (since I was around 15 years old), I finally decided that I wanted to be part of the community. So I made Beorna, my fursona and turned all my Monsteria characters into furries and that's how they'll stay.
I also made tons of progress in my art! I took a character drawing course online and learned so many new drawing techniques.
I also gained more confidence in my job as a teaching assistant. Before the school year started, I wondered if I could do it and I realized that I do a damn good job working with kids. I also feel appreciated in my workplace for the first time in 6 years, thanks to this new principal. Helping little ones get the best education they can receive is the best job in the world and I'm so thankful that I get to play a small part in shaping the lives of children.
And finally, I discovered the art communities of Twitter and Toyhouse. I still have yet to be active here on Toyhouse, but I plan on diving in the forums very soon.
If you read until the end, I applaud you for your persistence. lol
OH, and shoutout to alexd for being the first friend I made on this site.

Aww, you're quite welcome. I'm new to Toyhouse and I'm currently in the middle of getting all my character profiles ready to debut, so that's why my gallery is so empty...
But, you caught my eye when I was lurking on the forums and then I checked out your characters and I just love how detailed they are! I'd love to read more about your characters after I finally finish debuting my own.
