I know TH isn't really a place for posting fanfiction and I've already become acutely aware of the literature tool's quirks, but it doesn't hurt to spread the story out, or at the very least give the folks at The Library Isles server a chance to read the work behind my characters if they're interested in them! Its genre is a mixture of adventure, drama, friendship, light romance, hurt and comfort, mystery, and philosophy with a target for ages 17+. The story is definitely rated M for graphic military violence, mild sexual content, harsh language, and many other factors. Chapters throughout the entire series are anywhere between 4,500 words and 8,000 words, with the average being around 6,000 (in page count the average is anywhere from 14-17). Currently, I've finished 2 novels and I've started a third, plus I've finished 1 additional, supplementary novel (3 finished, 1 working, essentially.) For individual lengths per novel, Volume I is 603 pages long and 261,750 words, Volume II is 722 pages long and 316,740 words, and Volume IIS is 325 pages long and 139,149 words. So if you're looking for a story that's quick and snacky, this might not be it, but the lore-friendly nature of the story isn't an obstacle and the prose is designed to be simple and accessible!
If you want to check it out, I've posted the first couple of chapters here, and I'll post them in pairs or trio's each day or every couple of days. I'll save you some clicking and post the link to the first chapter here on ToyHouse, as well as the links to the other platforms I post on.

I highly recommend the DeviantArt version because it comes in a clean PDF format so you can see the original structure of the story with designed visual pacing and block prose compared to the stretching out of lines that FFN, AO3, and apparently ToyHouse does.
