Zapzen

The Zapzens are dragon-like creatures with electronic abilities.
 They are kept as pets and used as generators by the rich as these creatures use up a lot of food to generate their powers.
 When a Zapzen runs out of power their glow starts to fade and when its fully gone the creature loses its power for its entire life.
