After years upon years of living in the lake territories, the Clans have begun to forget who they are and what they stand for. In a time of complacency, ShadowClan’s leader has sown his seeds of fear in the murky pine forests he calls home, and is finally ready to strike further out.

Luca, a young loner emboldened by stories of his father’s greatness as a ThunderClan cat, seeks to bring peace among the lake cats.

Briarheart, RiverClan’s deputy, will only be content when she feels her Clan is safe, even if that means tearing ShadowClan apart from the inside out.

Terra has been alone long enough to know that her only desire is to protect herself, and she seeks to gain from the Clan cats’ strife.

The actions of ShadowClan’s mysterious leader will inexplicably bring the three together, despite their incongruous motives. What goal they are truly moving towards, however, is something they will have to figure out.
