"She works hard, and she is always rather respectful. I have... a few reservations about her, but I respect her."
"You've been there for me when I was at my very lowest... I don't know how I can ever repay you for that. It's not something I would have ever expected from a human, much less a priest. Perhaps humans aren't so worthless after all..." Ouija had not expected to be guided and assisted by Father Paris, of all people. She had not expected for him to be there for her like no one else has been (besides Az). And yet he was there for her, when she was on the verge of killing herself, and she will always be thankful for him as a friend. She will always hold him dear to her.
"Oh you poor thing. Just a little lamb who never once had a shepherd. Come to me, darling, and I will guide you as God never could." She doesn't particularly know how to feel about Donivan. His case was one she had always found keen interest in as a human woman, intrigued by the violence and the gore that he spread in his wake. Meeting him in person, and at a club no less, has certainly.... changed her expectations in him. Still, he is pleasant to her - a first for a man, and startling to her. Perhaps he could be useful somehow...
"I think you're pretty neat, even if your fashion sense is odd. You remind me of my daughter, and I like that about you." Al honestly really loves her and plans on treating her like his (adult) kiddo forever now! She's one of his ladies always and forever :)
"You're pretty cool. You've been nice to me since we met, I have nothing bad to say about you." Ophelia is actually rather fond of Allister. He gave her and her girlfriend a place to call home, he indulges her in her love for dancing, and he knows how to have fun. Apparent anger issues aside, she thinks he's pretty cool.
"I will never let a n y o n e get to you, angel. You will always be safe with me. That is a promise I know I can keep." It's true that Baladan cares about Hartford, but he also loves to manipulate her. She's so soft, so easily wrapped right around his fingertips... what more could he ask for? Using her kindness is something he will never get tired of. It begs the question, however - does he protect her because he cares, or is it because he doesn't want to lose his little pet?
"hehe bawadan! :3c"
"Isn't she just the cutest? I love her hair and her clothes, I'd love to go shopping with her some time :D"
Mommy
she wuvs him hehe she's never gonna let him be sad
she's also going to keep him in check cuz goddamn Al you need that
"...you're okay." while he's hesitant to show his affections, Danny truly brings out the best in Ares. before she came into his life, he was left stuck in the past, reliving every moment with his father. meeting her coaxed him away from that - for better or for worse - by giving him someone to care for again. someone who brought him joy to protect. he will never let go of her, and he will never, EVER let anyone hurt her the way her family did again. with him she is safe, and with him he is loved - even if that is not shown with physical gestures.
"Guys come watch me annoy my sexy troublemaker, free of charge!!"
Mabel is Briar's gossip buddy and she would honestly not have it any other way. They've know each other since the first war against Cora, and have been close since. I don't reckon their bond will break any time soon, either. She's probably his biggest cheerleader tbh :)
