I wanna push myself to do more background stuff and minor animations this year for Artfight and one of the ideas I'm kicking around is a clowncar with a bunch of different clown OCs/Sonas popping out. Anybody got a sacrifice?

I'm also thinking about a collection of goths having a beach day, a big mall scene with an assortment of more modern day/casual lore characters, and a Summerween thing with a shot down a suburban street or like a haunted house? If I did Summerween I'd definitely save it towards the end of the Fight to make sure I get costumes that actually make everybody happy.

EDIT: Feel free to leave Homestuck clowns linked if you've got em, but they're getting quarantined in an attack of their own if I do end up having enough to draw! Those aliens have a whole different vibe.

I got a new iPad! Got lucky with a resale and I'm over the moon about it. Also, I'm gearing up to move soon. Lots is going on and I'm excited but also a bit strung out! I've been playing Minecraft in the evenings with my friends again too which is such a nice change. At this point I'm spoiled for choice and doing my best to keep on track with my responsibilities. I really, really hope everything wrapped up in moving works out! My wife and I have been in the same apartment for about 8 years now and I'm ready for a change... even if it means packing. Yeesh. Gonna pay for being a collector if luck is on my side.

I've been rewatching the 2005 revival lately and having such a good time. Watched it the first time in middle school with my big sister and seeing it again as an adult has been both so comforting and so funny. I also forgot just how cool Martha was? When I was a kid the unrequited romance plot pissed me off, but now I like her enough independently of Ten to really really enjoy that season. I stopped watching in the middle of Matt Smith's run the first time and I've almost caught up to everything I've seen with a LOT of excitment about meeting Capaldi and Whittaker. I saw a few episodes of Ncuti and thought he was brilliant, seems a shame he got so little time.

If you've read this far, did you know they've almost completely restored the classic Who collection from home videos and old stolen tapes? Apparently for a long time people were afraid of legal repercussions so they didn't come forwards with the copies, but after the warehouse fire and with so much footage lost people have come together in a really incredible way. I really want to watch it properly instead of the bits and pieces I've seen so far, I used to catch spare episodes with my dad as a *little* kid and I just love Doctor Who so much.

Anybody else watch a lot of it? Classic or revival? I'd love to chatter about the IP, I love spoilers and I haven't read the comics or watched any spin offs like Torchwood yet, but I want to. My favorite doctor is 9 and my favorite 'companion' (one off tragedy more like) is Astrid.

I celebrate a non-religious flavor of Christmas, but it's holiday season all around and I hope everyone is having a good one!

Alright so. Artfight is gonna be down in for ages starting tomorrow and lately I've been going on there instead of doomscrolling. Great. To fill the void I guess I'm gonna be on Toyhouse a bit more and probably try to spruce it up a bit. Anybody got recs on what might be fun to do, or how to go about learning to code something myself? I'm super unfamiliar with this stuff but I'm having fun while I try. 

Oh, and I've got active trades with two users right now, but I'd be open to starting more once I've got their art done.
