TL;DR: Okay so I just want to let it be known for those who are currently subscribed to me and for those who sub in the future: I do not censor nor provide trigger/content warnings for my art

it’s a prevalent debate in the art community, and I’m on the side where I believe that art shouldn’t have to be censored or that it must contain trigger warnings

I know that I mostly draw bright cutesy cat characters, but with that being said, to keep y’all informed, some topics that can be considered disturbing/uncomfortable to most that will appear in my work from time to time are:

• Gore/Body Horror (Will be tagged if it’s to the point it goes against TH’s ToS)

• Allusions to SA/CSA (Acts of the abuse will never be drawn out, ofc, but implied)

• Character death/harm

• Substance abuse (Alcohol, cannabis, opioids, hallucinogens, etcetc)

• Self-harm (Fresh and healed scars)

• Toxic/Abusive relationships

• Suicidal Ideation/Attempts

Note:

• NSFW/fetish content will never appear on any of my profiles

• Potential seizure-enducing art will be properly censored

• Anthro/human/oid characters depicted as “nude” will have Barbie-Doll anatomy with the exception of nipples on male characters

I will reiterate that these themes are not very common at all in my work, as I tend to stick to my silly kitties, but heads up that I won’t shy away from exhibiting these in my work and they may appear in the future

Separating myself from the Waste Control community, nah

TL;DR: I no longer consider myself a “Warrior Cats” artist. I’ve lost interest in the franchise and its canon characters over time. Instead, I am looking to slowly, but surely, create my own original series named “Tales of the Hidden Grove” (TotHG) in order to distinguish my characters and have a thing I can call my own.

— Hey everyone, so as most of you who are subbed to me/interacted with me may know, I used to largely consider myself a warrior cats fan/artist. 

As a matter of fact, the vast majority of my characters on my profile are clearly related to the book series either directly or are Warriors-adjacent in some way, shape or form.

However, beginning toward the latter part of 2025, I noticed that within myself I started to feel disconnected from the book series as a whole. Instead, I felt more gravitated toward my own characters, not caring for the canon characters or their stories as much as I used to. Even to the point where I “rewrote” pretty much all of canon WC lore regarding the origins of the Clans to fit my own characters narratives.

Eventually, I felt this desire to truly separate my characters that I once considered “fan ocs” from the franchise as a whole and put them into their own original story that I plan to someday make into my very own series (as most creators on here dream of.)

This original series I have currently named “Tales of the Hidden Grove.” (Or “TotHG” for short.) The way it is developed in my notes/docs now is that it is a continuous story spanning over multiple arcs with a new major foe introduced into each one. As well as with slice-of-life moments and realistic depictions of trials, tribulations, and struggles real people deal with in day to day lives, some even based off my personal stories and hardships. There are also large spiritual and whimsy-fantasy themes.

I guess I could still consider my ideas and concepts “Warrior Cats adjacent” at this point in time. But I’m still working on it to distinguish it enough from Warrior Cats to where It can stand on its own two-feet. Maybe I’ll drop some of those brainstorming seshs sometime in the future if that’s something y’all might be interested in.

I’m still keeping the whole “PrefixSuffix” concept and group/clan dynamics because as of right now, I consider that stuff vital to my character’s lore and honestly I don’t feel like renaming all 200+ characters I have under my belt lol. (Most of them not even being uploading on here yet) You got me messed up.

This isn’t really deep at all or this huge thing of grandeur, just something I wanted to make clear as I no longer consider myself a “Warrior Cats” artist like stated above. But rather, an artist who just primarily draws sentient cats that fight each other. Lolll very different, I know I know.
