Hello all,

I'm planning to do some re-organizing of my characters within the coming months. Namely, I'm changing the privacy settings on my characters, and changing the amount of content that will be visible to the public.

What I'm planning to do

The front page of my characters' profiles will be slimmed down to just a simple paragraph or two summarizing the gist of the character (their role, personality, etc.), plus a "links" section noting their relationships to other characters. Meanwhile, my characters' full profiles (the content that is currently on the front page of their profiles) will instead be moved to a new tab, and this new tab will only be visible to authorized users. In other words: The public will get just a small taste of my characters, while authorized users will have access to my characters' full backstories, plus additional facts, etc.

(For an example of what I'm talking about, you can check out Candice's profile. If you're an authorized user, you'll see a tab to the left side of the screen that says "Full Profile"; you can click that to find more detailed information about her. If you're not authorized, then you won't see that tab.)

Additionally, any literatures that I upload for my characters will only be visible to authorized users from now on. This change will apply to older literatures as well.

What I'm doing in the meantime

This is probably going to be a months long endeavor, since I'll have to go through each character individually. So, until this project is complete, I'm going to change my privacy settings so that all of my characters are only visible to authorized users. If you're a public viewer: my character pages will go dark for a while, but they'll come back! They just won't be as detailed as they were before; sorry. If you're an authorized user: everything is going to look like a shuffled mess for a while- please bear with me while I sort it out!

I'm going through my list of subscribers and authorizing those whose names I recognize and who appear to be at least semi-active on ToyHouse. If I skipped you, please don't be offended- I probably just didn't recognize you, or you've been away for a while! If you would like to be authorized, you can message about it (either here or in private).

Why I'm doing this

Mostly for anti-theft reasons. Just trying to keep my babies safe! (I worry that I blab about them way too much, ahaha...)

I still really enjoy creating developed profiles for my characters and sharing them with others, though, and I don't want to give that up completely! So I figured this could be a compromise. I know it's not perfect, and I regret shutting some people out from seeing my work. But I'm always happy to talk about my characters, and to answer any questions that you might have about them.

I finally caved and bought myself a new drawing tablet. You may (or may not) remember that I lost my previous tablet's pen several months ago; I couldn't find a replacement pen online because it was for an older tablet, and I didn't want to buy a whole new tablet until after my family and I moved house. Well, we've finally moved! And I figured that, even if I do end up finding my old pen amid the mountain of moving boxes, it was probably time for me to upgrade to something nicer, anyway. (Worst case scenario is that I'll have a spare tablet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

It's a newer version of what I was using before (a Wacom One, this time a medium-sized one instead of a small). I just tested it out by lining one of the (now numerous) sketches that I couldn't finish before, and it works perfectly! Looking forward to spending some time catching up on digital art before I have to go back to school next week. :')

Anyway, new tablet aside: life is looking pretty good overall! We got a new house, and I feel like I'm in a stable spot again finally. Once we finish unboxing everything, I'll be set for a while. I'm definitely looking forward to leaving the chaos of the past year behind me.

I doubt anyone cares, but I figured I'd mention this somewhere anyway, just in case anyone is curious:

Remember how a few months ago, I mentioned in a bulletin that I could only make digital art for the time being, because I'm getting ready to move for a second time this year and all of my traditional art supplies are currently in a storage unit? Well, now I've lost my tablet pen, so I can't do digital art right now, either. I had to pull out of Art Fight early this year because I had nothing to draw with (except no. 2 pencil & ballpoint pen, but it's just not the same, y'know? And drawing/coloring with a mouse is hard, lol)

I've thoroughly searched everywhere that my pen could have possibly rolled off to and had no luck finding it, so my guess is that it won't turn up until after I'm all finished moving, whenever that is. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to buy a new tablet. In the meantime, I went ahead and bought myself a cheap, basic set of colored pencils just so I would at least have something to draw & color with for now, so my art will probably be traditional colored pencil doodles for the foreseeable future. It's actually been awhile since I've messed around with colored pencils, so I'm kinda looking forward to experimenting!

Anyway, life is still crazy, but I am doing OK, for the most part. Sorry again if I missed attacking or revenging you during this year's Art Fight. Maybe I'll send you a little colored pencil doodle gift as compensation. :)

I plan to participate this year, as always! But I'll be participating at a much slower rate than I have in previous AFs because my life is still kinda crazy at the moment. I'll probably be doing mostly revenges and simple attacks this year. Sorry if you're somebody who I normally attack and I don't get around to attacking you this time! I'll still revenge everyone who attacks me, though. :)

Edit: I got placed on Team Wither, much to my surprise. Yay, mushrooms!
I'm waiting until the event officially starts later today to get sorted onto a team at random, because I honestly have no preference. But it looks like I'll probably be placed on Team Bloom just to even out the numbers a little (I didn't think Wither would be so popular!)

-Preference goes to friends/mutuals (or even my friends' friends), although I will consider gifting them to others if there's interest

-You're also welcome to rename them, change their genders, etc.
-Although not required, I would love it if the following characters could go together, since they're seen interacting with each other in a few pictures: Daisy & Xanto (couple), Maury & Olley (friends)

Commissions!

Commissions are currently CLOSED. They will reopen once I have more time/energy (and once I find my lost tablet pen).

I am open for digital art commissions! You can find examples and prices here. Keep in mind that I am only able to do digital art at the moment.

I'm open for any type of digital commission (headshots, halfbodies, fullbodies, etc.). If interested, you can either post on this bulletin, or send me a PM here on TH. (I do have other contacts as well that you can ask me about, but TH is where I'm most active, so I guarantee that I will see & respond to your message in a timely manner here.)

The TL;DR version of my terms:
-Payment is accepted through PayPal only (USD)
-Please keep it in the PG-13 & under range (no NSFW)
-Half of payment is due after sketch completion; the rest can be paid after
-I'll draw any type of character you have (anthro, human, feral, etc.)!

Hello! So... I've never made a bulletin before. I'm guessing this is like the TH equivalent of a dA journal entry?? (Forgive me, I'm dumb. OTL)

Anyway, I just thought I'd give a heads up to you unfortunate souls who are subscribed to me: I've decided that I'm going to move all of the art stored in my dA Sta.sh over to my characters' ToyHouse galleries instead. It's a move that I've debated with myself over for a while now, the main drawback being that it would take a long time to upload everything over here; but I realized a while ago that dA Sta.sh has limited file storage, whereas TH seems to have unlimited storage? In that case, it would probably be more beneficial if I just used TH for all of my OCs' art galleries instead, so that I don't have to constantly worry about going over the storage limit.

In short, this means that I'm going to be uploading A LOT of art in the coming days... so subscribers, you have been warned!

Also, if I make a mistake when crediting you while uploading a drawing that you did for one of my characters, just let me know how you want to be credited and I'll change it. ^^
