What looks better beard or no beard?

I just want opinions.. I like the beard better but it looks a bit odd too... I am happy with the body now. 

I got my cross stitch floss and i was excited to start this but i am hemming and haawwwwing over the pixel art...

Its my b-day ya... oof never understood why people treated it differently i mean nowadays i just make myself cake and we get to choose what we want to eat for supper.

Ending... umm at the end of the week. So September 9th i get that all my followers are not on here almost every day like i am so i wanna give you some time ♡

I am not begging for art or anything just saying..

I might do a little art raffle or something.

The weather is supposed to be nicer its fudging hot out.

This is one lucky potato in my opinion. 

I was checking on it frequently hatch day was yesterday and this one had not hatched yet. I saw it pipped internally earlier in the day but still not externally by the end of the day. So I did what is probably considered a no-no and a popped  a small hole into the egg just so it would be able to breath. Cause i worry, this is a fail safe.

This morning i kept an eye on it more... it had a bigger hole but it was just not ready to hatch. 

My worst nightmare approached I went there to find momma had left the nest... baby was freezing... i thought it was dead... i saw no movement...

I ran inside with the egg, placing them under the heatlamp but it was not working fast enough in my opinion. Baby was still in the egg.. but it was stuck to them the membrane had dried onto it. I quickly ran it to the sink and made it a warm bath. 

A few moment later I popped it from the egg. Baby started wiggling... I am amazed i spent the whole day in an ok phase. I kinda well my brain was like... if its not better by later today i am gonna put it down. It.. looked dead for most of the day I held up its head and forced it to dip its bill into some vitamin water. 

Its getting better! Its sitting up holding its head up on its own power. It still looks weird (or is that just me....) but anyways Baby is special... 

Maybe i should call it Baby?

So ya.. she broke the one.. i am still a bit crushed about that...ya you take pun.... i am in a bit of a bad mood about that still i feel its my fault

We had some eggs under a hen i knew hatch day was coming so i moved her... i had done it before but this time she was dumb and abandoned the eggs. I had to quickly bring them inside to warm up the incubator....

I just did not trust our Guinea fowl, those birds are kinda nasty... very aggressive.

Anyways yesterday was super stressful i broke both the black ones out of their eggs because they must have been shrink wrapped or the cold stressed them out and they were too exhausted to hatch.

The other one hatched on sunday.

100% hatch rate with the ones those silly birds did not break! They broke 2, one died early, i think i either had 1 or 2 duds early on... we dont have a rooster anymore poor wierdo roo.. he be gone.. we think the fox got him.. or a bird of prey

Also note i shoved some duck eggs under the one big broody brown hen. They all seem to be in good health... maybe the chicken will have better luck then me..

Did you know people get bitchy about egg color?

They do not seem as blue toned in the photo as they are irl

But the middle row 3rd egg from us (also 1st one on this row is blue toned too, its a lot smaller though.. people are fussy about that too... and we are selling to them for a very good deal since commercial  'freerun' eggs are 6.79 for superstores offbrand. (Or 7.79 for their blue menu offbrand) 7 .14 at Walmart 

.. and commercial freerun.. is a lie at least our chickens can go into and out of a coop into a large outside run. We even let them out out sometimes (not any more since we are down a roo. Hens are stupid Roosters kinda keep them in line, tells them were good food is, tells them to follow him..)

I got 6 healthy chicks!

Today is technically hatch day, so i got 4 eggs still in the bator and if my mom lets me i may leave them in there for today and tomorrow.

I dont have a picture of all 6. I just took the last 2 out of the bator this morning and I did not have my phone with me to take them... 

But here be the first 4 if you missed them.

5 is another black one

6 is kinda brownish mottled Colors almost?? Not sure if thats the right word

Here they are! That one by the water tray... its butt fluff almost looks like butt cheeks 😂

They all are physically very healthy. Very active, in good spirits... they don't want food in the tray they want it on the ground... 

Also just wanted to share this cute lego i got at our local liquidation store... it was still kinda expensive but... 40 dollars cheaper then from lego store...(with taxs and everything)
