🚦Just for clarification, I don’t have a DNI. No one listens to DNIs. Someone who’s racist isn’t going to say they’re racist to your face. Nor will they listen to that warning. I personally think people with 10-page long DNIs, people who are like “DNI if *proceeds to list off people who are anti to over 10 demographics*” are just too political. My adopts and my business are not political. Now, obviously, I don’t wanna be talking to racist people, homophobic people, transphobic people, sexist people, blah blah blah etc, but I’m not going to be overly hostile and say DNI if you’re anti [insert hot-button political issue here] (I am aware skin color and queerness and biological sex and all that are not inherently political in and of themselves, but politics loves to weaponize them.). If someone does happen to be racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, romanticize mental illness, transphobic or anything else, I will probably block them, but in order for me to really take an action like that, the -phobic or -ist needs to be caught promoting that kind of bad rhetoric.🚦
