Hello! As a premise, I'm aroace myself, and sex repulsed at that, so I guess it's why I didn't question it in the first place.

I was wondering if it was okay to give minor characters orientations that have to do with asexuality - I knew I was one since I was a little kid myself, but I wasn't sure if pointing it out with minor characters was appropiate. After all, I'm not sharing my experience, I'm describing a character. 

To me, I've seen it like "Well this is just their canon orientation, it's mostly for fun and to show that this is simply who they are and also it's for personal comfort", so that's why I did it. But then today I thought more about it and I'm torn... Because even though asexuality is lack of sexual attraction, it's still linked to sex in a way. 

Tltr; Is it okay to point out a character is asexual even though they're a minor?
