"HOW'D YOU LIKE TO BUY A KNIFE THAT ONLY CUTS STRAWBERRIES?!?!" (Is practicing pitching the same product to them for the 20th time while they're tied up in a dark alleyway)
"I hate him. He's the worst. One day, I'm gonna kill him." (Angrily in love w/ him)
Hibiki's meeting with Mika was an unfortunate incident he'd just as soon forget, but thanks to her Quirk, he's unable to fully force himself to do so.
Once she figured out his gender, Mika hated Hibiki as much as she hates any other male, but she's constantly troubled by the brief interaction they had prior to that knowledge.
Hibiki first met Aimi during the entrance exam to U.A. He's mildly annoyed by the quirky actress, but has no idea just how much of a connection they share.
Aimi is fascinated by Hibiki's unusual Quirk, and often bumps into him when interviewing other students in the Hero course. However, she has no idea just how much of a connection they share.
Empath is best friends with J-8. She greatly enjoys his company, as when she is around him, her emotions become strangely calm and empty.
J-8 is best friends with Empath. He's happy that she lets him ramble about the things he's interested in (even when she doesn't understand), and appreciates that they both understand the feeling of being drained from social interaction.
Hibiki first took notice of Sayomi due to her prominent Quirk (which he's still jealous of), but eventually grew to become friends with her. Now, he enjoys having someone to laze around and eat enormous amounts of food with.
Similarly, one of Sayomi's first encounters with Hibiki involved her admiring the boy's impeccable dancing when she accidentally blasted some of her music down the halls, not fully realizing at the time that her earbuds weren't completely plugged into her smartphone due to her drowsiness. She even thought that Hibiki was part of an idol group visiting the school because of how skilled he was, but the misunderstanding was soon cleared up and she quickly learned that he was actually a student just like her. While Sayomi ultimately befriended him, she also fell victim to initially mistaking him for a girl. It had taken her about a week after their first meeting to remember to stop referring to him with female pronouns, but it was an honest mistake that she often apologized for. Now, she enjoys Hibiki's company and always looks forward to lazing around and binging snacks with him, and greatly cherishes their friendship overall.
