Ocean kingdom

The second most populated kingdom.

The ocean kingdom cats have crystals or gems, that can be any color, imbedded in their wrists- or their chest/head if they’re royal or an advisor- that they are born with. This is the most important thing to an ocean cat, usually decorated to the nines and never disrespected by another ocean cat. These gems allow them to transform back and for between their two forms:

form 1. Their underwater form- they grow fine and tails specific to the fish they are based on. These fins can be anywhere from their paws to their ears. They can either have their back legs and tail transform into their fishtail or they can just have their regular cat tail transform into a fishtail. If these gems were to be ripped off or broken, which is the same as death to the ocean cats, they would never be able to return to the water. This is the worst punishment to can receive as an ocean cat.

The ocean cats can be based on any aquatic animal, from tadpoles to sharks to any crustacean. The cats family will usually have the same species as them (for example: a great white water cat would probably have other shark family members)

These cats have amazing vision, being able to see in the darkest of depths. They also have very powerful swimming muscles. Once the ocean cats touch water they practically disappear to any other cat that isn’t an ocean cat, which can be very confusing when it rains. They have to always have some water on them so they very rarely travel to the desert kingdom. They have a unique language they use underwater that allows them to somewhat communicate with other species. This has to do with the fact the ocean cats glow faintly in the dark.
