This is a story I created as a joke with some friends (Bruh and Mada), which is supposed to be as bizarre as possible.

The Sun started to emit radioactive waves, no one knows why. Some rumors say that it was done on purpose, that someone powerful sent some kind of bomb to the Sun to change it. Most people died, others started living in hidden places and some mutated and became resistant to the radiation.

These mutants are the only ones that can live in the outside world, and the ones that haven't had their mind fried by the radiation usually work as scavengers or mercenaries. Sometimes even taking work from the "two faced" governor, who wishes to eliminate all mutants.

The mercenaries kill mutant animals most of the times, but in some cases mutant humans too, the ones that have become too savage, uncontrollable and dangerous.
They also make some extra cash selling parts of what they kill to be used for medicine, rituals, food, etc.
