CONTROL is an autobiography written by Brenda Wilkes. It details the events that occurred when she was seventeen, and the incidents at the Whiskey Facility. Brenda Wilkes is an escaped test subject from Insterstice Science Innovators. She was considered missing by the company until she reappeared during the testing of their, at the time, latest project.

Brenda’s story follows her as she attempts to find out what the company was up to, while also managing a group of young women who want to help, but really just get in the way. This group is lead by Eliza Jones, a girl who’s a big fan of Brenda, but doesn’t know how to properly convey her feelings. Brenda also works with Elliot, another test subject she escaped with, and now lives with.

During the events of CONTROL, Brenda’s actions lead to an old central computer being reactivated, and the destruction of the Whiskey Facility.

A couple years later, Idealism follows. It is also an autobiography by Brenda, this time detailing the events that happened as she attempted to destroy the old central computer, with the intent to permanently cripple ISI. Unfortunately, she ends up uncovering some uncomfortable truths about the past of the company and a close friend.
