guys I finished the comic (posting right after this), and now I’m gonna talk about it

Um so technically it’s not even a comic, it’s more of a story board I threw together on whiteboard fox..I just decided to line and color it since I wanted more of zircons art to be actually- finished? And uh it escalated from there and I added backgrounds and stuff…and now we’re here…

Honestly it’s fucking cringe, I originally drew it during one of my “all nighters” and a good chunk isn’t even canon anymore- I just kept going cuz I was too lazy to make the changes..but it’s supposed to be a prologue type thing? Idk it’s mostly practice but I’m willing to take light constructive criticism! I’m a lil self conscious about it so be gentle- if not just enjoy the silly zircon content

About the stuff that’s actually in the comic tho? Literally mellohi (the zepher, aka personal species) takes in this traumatized lost magmatail kit off the streets (zircon) and decides to raise him- now she’s way too overprotective and doesn’t let him leave to do anYthing. my guy is traumatized, bored, and misses his friend

Thinking about…Harper!

So Harper was hatched underwater hence the aquatic traits (and yes she had both front arms). She took an interest in building things so her parents signed her up for engineering school. She showed to be more creative than then most, creating things to improve the lives of others. Sooo when she got older she decided she was gonna be an inventor along with her best friend Axel. (She met Axel in engineering school and they both had similar motives and talents.)

They started with small inventions like fake fins to let you swim faster. Then they started testing flight devices so amphamanders as well as zephers could fly along with the other species. It was…sort of successful? The wings they made allowed them to glide from one place to another but you couldn’t “fly” with them. Despite that, their little gliders caught the eye of Queen Akoya and they became pretty profitable.

Later down the line when the war starts Harper and Axel are asked to invent more weapons or better armor so they could protect themselves. Axel agreed once payment was laid out but Harper wasn’t sure if she wanted her inventions to be used to hurt others. So Axel worked on the weapons and Harper worked on armor. She does end up loosing her arms when one of Axels weapons backfire. Then he decides ”shoot maybe this is a bad idea” and he tells the queen they basically quit inventing. The last thing Axel invented was Harper’s new arms.

Then they both join Jester and Raven in kidnapping Kitzens. Harper was against it but just went with it for Axel

The wilber soot situation has me in shambles omfg, I’m not gonna go into detail but I was shocked 

I’m working on a storyboard type comic so I hope yall have ur notifs on

once I’m done with the comic my next project will be a pmv of sorts

Thinking about…Jester! (Rewbity)

Jester is one of my more “recent” sillies designed by topazdoesart (hello beloved). LOVE HIM he is so silly rghhh

Jester used to work in the entertainment industry if it wasn’t obvious. He was a circus performer and his half sister was a mime. He was also paid to attend birthday parties as a clown and even showed up for free sometimes hehe. He adored his job and showing off what he could do. He does tended to push himself past his limits which got him injured a lot ksksk.

His sister half sister, Raven, was often the one to be like “ok maybe we shouldn’t do that??” And he’d always brush her off and walk back out with a broken leg or smth right after.

Anyways once the war started the circus became less popular. Other amphamanders were more interested in keeping themselves and family safe than anything. The circus went out of business and Jester and Raven were forced to find some other job :((

Now they get paid to kidnap kitzens :)

Thinking abooout...Zircon (finished his code btw yippie)

ISTG IM ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT HIM IN SOME WAY SHAPE OR FORM SJNFRHB HEP ME

For example if I were driving and someone cuts me off i would've immediately thought "hah zircon would be so pissed off rn." Cuz YES he is basically my imaginary friend,,obv he's human (occasionally furry) in my head but in canon lore n stuff he's feral

I like to imagine he has a silly rotc friend group in high school and since he's rich they're always asking him for stuff..Also Jasper would get jealous when Zir buys Brick a whole ass car for his bday when he only got a starbux gift card. smh Jas you should be grateful.

BUT I COULD GO ON AND ON FOREVER ABOU THIS GUY BUT I WONT CUZ YALL DO NOT WANT A 90 PAGE RAMBLE also i feel weird talking about him cuz i love him a bit too much o-O

OK I was organizing th and I did something with the tags..so far it’s only on Zircon and Cotton to see if I like it or not…but does it look too overwhelming? like.. should I stick to having all forms and aus mixed with the rest of their art? Cuz the only reason I didn’t do it before was cuz I thought it’d be too much-

(Edit: also idk if I should stick to putting aus in a separate folder I might just keep them on their own profile)

Thinking about… the darkest hour (TDH)

Cotton was born from a dragon mother (Nimbus) and a bunny/cat father (Cobra). The two of them were in a forbidden relationship which ended soon after she was born. Not because they didn’t love each other anymore but because they couldn’t be together without putting Cotton in danger. (Dragons or any other mythical creatures that live in Prestigious Heights are forbidden to be in relationships with regular creatures) So Nimbus made Cobra take Cotton away from Prestigious Heights and herself so she could live a normal life.

Cotton grew up in a regular little herbivore-only neighborhood. In elementary school, she started getting bullied for being part cat. Usually that ended with her biting people but once she got really upset and discovered she could turn into a freakin dragon. After that Cobra stopped letting her go to public schools and homeschooled her. Rip

After a while Cobra gets murdered and Cotton gets kidnapped by someone who I won’t name yet…but they were sent by someone from Prestigious Heights who heard about her dragon form. They wanted her back alive and unharmed but our assassin isn’t particularly the best fan of those who live in Prestigious Heights. They stapled little tags on Cottons ears that read “fuck you” and planned to send her head to their instigator. (This is where the nicks in her ears come from!!) She luckily escapes and meets Smile who protected/raised her the rest of her life. Up until she meets Sweetness that is-

Now I really doubt future rambles will ever be this long but since you guys know very little about my stories I’ve gotta give you the basics first :,)
