I'm gonna hopefulyl put a big in depth thing here, but basically - two kingdoms. light and dark. north and south. shits kinda funky. they each got a deity - of the dawn, and of the dusk (all respectively). the gods bless a bunch of people and it means they got born with magic and also like, blue skin, big eyes, horns, whoooo. thems the maidens. anyway shits kinda rough and the countries had a huge war ages ago (dark was initially part of the light and sought independence due to its differing culture). theres this creeping darkness in the dark kingdom that its Maidens can't stop (as a result of a biiiiig explosion at the tail end of the war). and they want the light to help. it then snowballs catastrophically from there. yay! light kingdom - Divinice. dark republic - Kysroa. God of Light - Ylais (dont drop the s). God of Dark - Kysro (:p)
