Ignore this this is unfinished
- Father, Janvier
- Mother, Olivia
- Eldest sister, Eloise
- a Brother, Faust, unsure who's older between him and Atticus. he is the first one to get married and have kids (when older)
- Youngest Youngest brother, Dorian
Flower [TBN] - An incredible close friend, lesbian/ace cottagecore single mother. A platonic love. Both oddballs in their own regards, they understood each other's flaws and were ok with them. She passed while he was in prison, an accident at the lake. He saw it in a vision, but the prison guards were not in any rush to get his letter of warning out. It devastates him to this day, but he's grateful for the joyous times.
Charlie - Flower's daughter, the father left when she was just a baby, but she had friends to help, one of which being Cassius. Charlie would call him her "Uncle Ward", and they very much are family. Even in his adventuring, dangerous life, he never forgets to write her. He can't be a father to her, his mental health and lifestyle don't lend to it, but he's still there as a support, and he tries to visit as often as he can.
====World====
Children don't fear or demonize Cassius in the way the rest of the world does. They're often curious, but in a kind way. He's the type of man to dance and recite poetry in the woods, and foster the creativity of anyone who wants to do the same. He'll teach them about the local flora and fauna, and listen to whatever they wish to share. While upsetting to adults, his kindness really shows in these quiet moments. He's your friendly witch in the woods.
====Family====
Mother - Very Negative
Father - Very Negative
Eldest Brother - Very Negative
Twin Older Siblings - Slightly Positive, but would rather give him up than the rest of their family.
Younger Sister - Slightly Negative
Younger Brother - Does not remember him
tldr: Homoerotic enemies to rivals to "coworkers" (crime) to friends to lovers <3
note: Cassius is the annoying one
Over the course of their stories:
The two men knew of each other before they had ever actually met. Whitlock was a well known crime lord, and Cassius was not only a monster hunter, but the inventor of the new drug on the market. They started off at odds, considering Cassius wanted to cleanse the world of demonic beings, and Atticus wanted nothing more to drain Cassius dry.
Yet, the experience of drinking the copper, cobalt blood of hemomancer is one no man can forget. For many years they do a song and dance of attempts at the others life, slowly getting to know the way the other man ticked. Neither could defeat the other. They were each other's greatest adversary, and yet their greatest desire. Atticus fell first.
Even after Cassius realized the moral error in monster hunting, Whitlock was still kinda a mass murderer, and so he had to be stopped. Sarcastic banter can go a very far way, however. They would give in to their yearnings far more than they would ever admit. Even just enjoying the others company.
Over time, they were able to reach an understanding that they could agree on for who they found deserving of death, one stable enough to even work together in the criminal world. Atticus would even be Cassius's partner in science, over time.
The exact moment that their relationship went from sensual friendship to romantic lovers is very blurry. They get there, though. It's not the most perfect, healthiest thing in the world, but neither are the two of them as individuals. They found themselves at their happiest in each others arms.
